i give example - medicine --------------effect----------->man medicine is independent variable becous it is not effected by man. but man is effecting from medicine. medicine-------independent variable man----------dependent variable researcher can manipulate in medicine like power of medicine #meta edu. mam please check my example..

No We can't manipulate dependent variables But independent variables like teaching method can be manipulated. Another example can be madicine we can manipulate dose amount, type of medicine to see the effect on the depend variable health. So we can manipulate independent variables. I hope your doubt is clear now ☺️
