If the band crosses the fermi level at X, is that where you would expect the superconducting gap? If so, is that orbital representation at X accurate to the configuration of the superconducting state?

dear Patrick how can we calculate the band structure and dos ? and which software or program should i use? i am a master's student and i am working on nickelates H Tc superconductors.

Aren't the cuprates heterogeneous? Wouldn't you need to look at the local density of states?
