if Y takes the lesser value of the outcome, then why have we considered values which are equal? for eg: we took 1 form (1,1) or 2 from (2,2) here the values are equal and non of the value is lesser. then why did we consider this?

it's always less than or equals to 0, but never less than zero. 5:08
