I believe that God gave me the gift of evangelism. Thus, this message is a great reminder for me to keep in the forefront of my mind as I share the Gospel of Christ-Who He Is, and what He accomplished for sinners. Additionally, this is the ABSOLUTE BEST example of a message that these seminary students could EVER receive. The contents of this sermon should be the EXACT REASON why these men go into the ministry and preach. If this sermon seems too intense for ANY of them, then I hope that they would SERIOUSLY consider that they have NOT been called to be a pastor. This is the best message on Hell that I’ve EVER HEARD, and underscores the gravely serious need for EVERY CHRISTIAN to tell strangers, friends, and family about their two destinies. This sermon is the most important sermon that ANYONE could EVER, EVER hear. Thank you, Dr. Lawson, for an epic sermon. Thank you,The Master’s Seminary, for uploading these videos!! All Grace to you all!

Just a small noting detail @1:52 "Lazarus" and the unknown rich man was a true story, not a parable. Only allegorical examples ( never names or real people ) are used in parables to illustrate a moral or spiritual lesson.

@15:22 Trust me on this one, unless you're Dr. Lawson, your eyes will stumble reading your own spank in the middle of your sermon. It's best to have your notes and bullet points -TYPED IN BIG BLACK BOLD LETTERS - for a better reading & delivery experience.

52:50 Is it eternal fire or its everlasting fire? For the fire to burn eternally or for the people in hell to burn eternally they must have eternal life in them. Is it not better to say everlasting fire because everlasting its for a period long enough but which comes to an end??? However, i am enjoying the lectures.

Hello Dr. Steven Lawson Can you please help me with this scripture Revelation 14: 10 King James Version (KJV) 10 The same shall drink of the wine of the wrath of God, which is poured out without mixture into the cup of his indignation; and he shall be tormented with fire and brimstone in the presence of the holy angels, and in the presence of the Lamb: Will the Angels and the Lord Jesus be present in Hell pouring out His wrath ? I have looked here also and a little perplexed is God is omnipresent, even in hell: “Where can I go from Your Spirit? Or where can I flee from Your presence? If I ascend into heaven, You are there; If I make my bed in hell, behold, You are there. If I take the wings of the morning, and dwell in the uttermost parts of the sea, even there Your hand shall lead me, and Your right hand shall hold me. If I say, ‘Surely the darkness shall fall on me,’ even the night shall be light about me; indeed, the darkness shall not hide from You, but the night shines as the day; the darkness and the light are both alike to You” (Ps. 139:7-12). Yet something more is in view here, for the holy angels, who lack omnipresence, are also said to have access to the damned. Would love to hear your views on this scripture Blessings Gareth

1. Revelation 14:10 Yes God's wrath will be present for the wicked forever. However, not his Spirit. 2. Context for the Psalmist he was not referring to "hell" as in the place for the wicked. The words Sheol which means after life so it can mean hell or the temporary paradise for the old testament saints.. Before Christ died all the old testament saints were in paradise, but not heaven till Christ arose from the dead. Since no one can stand before the Father without the righteousness of Christ.

Death and resurrection, The dead and the living, The perishable and the imperishable, from parable of the rich man and Lazarus Luke 16:19-31 💡 Preached by JESUS to Pharisees, the fanatic clerical impostors of the time, who loved money (v.13) and perpetrate infidelity (v.18) but thinking to themselves they're sons of Abraham. Now the Pharisees are history but their pattern of behavior exists to present day. Scripture: And besides all this, between us and you there is a great chasm fixed, so that those who wish to come over from here to you are not able, and none may cross over from there to us. Luke 16:26 LSB 📖 The Great Chasm: Our eternity is decided in this life, Jesus said; do not work for the bread that perishes, "I am the bread of life" whoever comes to me will never be hungry AND “The work of God is this: to believe in the one he has sent.” AND AGAIN who hears my word and believes him who sent me has eternal life and will not come under judgment but has passed from death to life. Truly I tell you, an hour is coming, and is now here, when the dead will hear the voice of the Son of God, and those who hear will live. The dead and alive are separated in this life as of now, Light an darkness do not meld, and a dead man has no God nor can he worship the God. The GREAT CHASM between the destitute Lazarus and the pompous rich man is already formed, and at burial they're only reaping what they sown a lifetime, Just as people are destined to die once, and after that to face judgment. Hebrews 9:27 📖 In these days while our contemporary men are distracted trying to identify a physical mark of the beast, through interpreting and linking the signs and works the satan is performing in the world to the Scriptures, they tend to let fall between the cracks the brazenly conspicuous gospel truth, the spiritual diaphora betwixt the two groups, and these two are; sons of God and sons of belial, the eternal and the worthless, discernible by their fruits, true faith in God is displayed by works, and likewise the corruption of disbelief by its fruits. Logic and lady wisdom both given by God agree on this; a dead man is a dead man, either he accepts the physical mark or rejects it, it does not change the outcome of what he will reap in the next life, we can reason with him and weary our own selves, yet he will still walk according to the ways of this world and the ruler of the power of the air, the spirit who is now at work in them, these are in enmity with God, such are the walking dead according to God, they reject God and God rejects them, such a man is not God pleasing but self-centered, but once this dead man is born a new, off water and Spirit, referring to miraculous regenerative work of God alone, according to the thoughts and ways of God which are higher than ours as heavens are higher than the earth, then this dead fellow will be able to see reason and have an eternal perspective beyond the worries and pleasures of this passing life. Therefore, dear reader, my friend, as JESUS commissioned, preach the gospel of life to the dead, which is the power of God that saves, it may sound foolish and not eloquent but it carries the power of God, SCRIPTURE: For since, in God’s wisdom, the world did not know God through wisdom, God was pleased to save those who believe through the foolishness of what is preached. because God’s foolishness is wiser than human wisdom, and God’s weakness is stronger than human strength. 1 Corinthians 1:21, 25 📖 e.g. One day I made an open appeal on social media, I saw the people being too preoccupied with the affairs of world, the signs and works satan is performing, and not spending the precious time God gives them on studying the scriptures to prove themselves a good workman to the master, in response to my post, later and old lady, a nominal Christian, one of those types who tour Israel's tourist attractions, and get submerged in the Jordan river, who was very consumed and somewhat entertained by the world events, came aggressively at me saying "I REFUSE TO BURY MY HEAD IN THE SAND", the sand being the word of God. Not long after this same lady was enraged and insulted because I posted the verse Luke 16:18 which says "Everyone who marries a woman divorced from her husband commits adultery." saying to me "HOW DARE YOU CALL MY SECOND MAN, MY LOVING HUSBAND, AN ADULTERER" and proceed to unfriend me, it is needless to say that I did not wrote the Luke 16:18 nor was I the One who spoke it. The way of a fool is right in his own eyes: but he that hearkeneth unto counsel is wise. Proverbs 12:15 📖 My friends, our struggle is not against flesh and blood and our ways of battle are not by methods and wisdom of the world. We follow Jesus, we obey him, and we rely on his strength, He is the king who has the key of the house David, and he has already overcome the world. My notes on Luke 16 v26 ✍

Every sermon heard is heard by an individual who internalizes it or not. Adding the word many, externalizes the thought and causes the hearer not to internalize. Jesus said you must eat my flesh and drink my blood, it means to consume him, the word of God, personally. Not to think about many. Hear what the spirit is saying! There were two before death, the other two crosses. One went to hell, the other to Heaven. It’s a choice. You’re focusing on fleshly things.

Where in Scriptures does it say that one of the thiefs went to hell? It doesn't, so you're only assuming. But I have a different, better and biblical view regarding this story. Lmk if you wish to know.

@@mafia461I believe that the reader of the story of the crucifixion could rightly conclude that a person dying on a Cross RIGHT NEXT to the Saviour of the world, AND speaking mean words against Him, would end up in Hell.
