A large number of Palestinians migrated to Lebanon as refugees as a result of Israeli occupation of Palestinian lands. Some militant factions of Palestinians continued their struggle against Israel while residing in Lebanon. Local population including Christians and Shia Muslims were caught in between. Lebanon's Muslim population did not increase the way she is maliciously describing. What are talking about? The church stood by and did nothing doesn't sound true. Many Christian countries entered Lebanon to help, including irish Italian and Americans. The church provided prayers and funds including food and medicine. Christian countries like Brazil and Australia housed many Christians in the 70s- 80s. Everything she is saying is true, I am Armenian who was born in Lebanon, because my grandparents escaped the genocide by muslims in turkey (my great uncle died in that genocide), we left Lebanon in 84 I was 10 my brother was 14 and my father was worried they would draft him into war. I remember we were not allowed to sleep in pajamas because every night we were on watch if the bombs got louder we knew it was getting closer to home and we would ho t a rubber factory under ground. Sometimes for a night sometimes it lasted weeks. My school closed one day because a bomb hit it, I remember we walked home that day I was 8 years old. I am brought to tears every time I hear her testimony. I’ve served in the military. I have given my health and torn my body to pieces fighting, as a Deputy Sheriff, for the citizens of a county I don’t even live in. The county I’ve given everything to has tried to throw me away because I’m not able to fight anymore. The leaders of that counties Sheriff Dept. have treated me with contempt and abuse because they don’t like me personally. They are immoral men who I’ve seen to be afraid of God who dwells in me. Even with all this, I would gladly return and keep fighting, continue dealing with the abuse, if God would heal me as he has done before. The only faith I have is that God will keep his promises. I am unworthy, but I hold Jesus who died for me in my mind and heart. I love my God, my creator more than I love my wife or children. I teach them to love our living God, our creator more than anything or anyone else. Because of my age and everything I’ve endured, I might not live to see my young daughters have families. Only by the grace of God will I live to see grandchildren. I pray my Lord shows me how to continue serving him. I pray my Lord and savior opens a door allowing me to continue protecting the little children as I have for many years. I pray my words inspire everyone to surrender themselves to God the Father, God the Son and God the Holy Spirit. Glory be to God in the highest.
