Jerry Root is a Professor at Wheaton College in Wheaton, Illinois, and a very popular speaker on C. S. Lewis.

Bio info:
Jerry Root is a Professor at Wheaton College in Wheaton, Illinois, and a very popular speaker on C. S. Lewis. Jerry received a Master of Divinity degree from Talbot Graduate School of Theology and earned his Ph.D. through the Open University at the Oxford Center for Mission Studies. He has been studying C. S. Lewis and topics related to Lewis for 49 years, as well as teaching Lewis for 39 years. He has lectured on Lewis topics at 77 universities in 17 countries. His books include the bestselling and award-winning The Quotable C. S. Lewis, co-edited with Wayne Martindale; The Soul of C. S. Lewis, also co-authored with Wayne Martindale; C. S. Lewis and a Problem of Evil; The Surprising Imagination of C. S. Lewis, co-authored with Mark Neal; and The C. S. Lewis Bible, co-edited with Douglas Gresham (Lewis’s step-son). Jerry has been married to Claudia for 44 years. They have 4 married children and 15 grandchildren.

Indeed- my imagination has been broadened by hearing this lecture by Jerry Root. I'm encouraged to think deeper, broader and higher about perplexing issues, and see the intense love of God by doing so.

Thing lecture is amazing. Do I understand it all. Well, no (my dear wife asked me why am I crying) . All I could say say was amazement was and is that for which we ultimately were made. She said I understand. I am 3x bested.

it was the first time a standing ovation happened according to Charles Micky. i was surprised they did not include that in the edit. it truly was an amazing presentation and was given at a very different time Friday 10:30 AM till noon. we were actually done before noon.

Just when you thought this lecture couldn't get any better you realize that the music at the beginning and the end sounded like Phil Keaggy because it was some Phil Keaggy music.
