One of Fanon's most important views in the Wretched of the Earth which was ignored in this lecture, are the effects the Church and Christianity have in colonization.

fanon didn't die in Tunisia, he died in Maryland, US. He said he wished he had died in Tunisia but died within the US medical system, perhaps BECAUSE of the US medical system

How can there be 27,542 + views and so few comments? This is a powerful lecture, wide reaching, full of contextualization, analysis and description of relevance to today's issues of imperialism and its pretense of colonisation. Just came upon an article about events today of indigenous women are forced to opt for sterilisation.

Hello friends, I have a concern, for connoisseurs of the subject, what is the work of Fanon that they consider best to enter their philosophy: 1. Black skins, white masks or 2. The damned of the earth? Regards! ✌🏻✒️

Yep. One of those moments when someone who presents themselves as an expert ... accidentally reveals they're not.

Screw Camus - he was a hypocrite and a crypto racist imperialist. Didn't deserve the Nobel Prize. Fanon's ideas are still relevant because global inequality persist and it is getting worse. Two faced Camus will be a footnote in history.
