With the Palestinians in Gaza able to directly show us the ugly and horrifying truth on social media, we’ve see what a colonizer does like never before. So many of us are shocked, aghast at Israel, its army, its people blocking aid and supporting the genocide, the failure of western leaders to stop it. I can’t sleep haunted by what I’ve seen, I cry every day, and I know others out there feel that way too, although there is still too much silence in the west, as people are afraid of powerful Zionist forces. Even so, people are with the Palestinians. Seeing it live-streamed made the difference. The MSM has tried to ignore and cover up the genocide, making themselves irrelevant. Young people don’t watch the MSM anyway.

The battle of Algiers is a film well worth a watch, gives a better understanding, while a lot of people are against what is going on in Gaza and Americans are starting to wake up to what Isreal does as a state, I still find it hard to accept how the political elite in the west can stand by Israel for much longer, a state that is colonialism, apartheid, racist, zealots, neo fascist, Zionist, and is carrying out genocide. What happened on the 7th of October was terrible, but Palestinian people cannot be under the jack boot for generations and expected to accept the violence as part of their daily existence.

This was a versy strong short speach. No more words needed to describe the current situation. As a descendant of a German mother and a father born in neo-colonial Guadeloupe with relatives from Martinique watching the dehumanisation of the people of Palestine since the late seventies, since I became conscious and aware of the wrongs in this so called conflict, I can only agree with what I just heard here! Edit: I also strongly recommend the book "Sweet Occupation" by Lizzie Doron a Jewish author. It is a real eye opener!
