Muscle this is one of your greatest interviewe you ever had, lecturea is talking the thought
Lecturer is an artiste who SHOULD have been given the opportunity to build more in reggae dancehall music. Too much red eye in the business cut him short. Big up Lecturer, one of Jamaica’s story telling lyricists! Respect again Muscle for bringing Lecturer story to light. ✊🏾

This is the best interview from a DJ that I have heard so far. Muscle I would love to hear an interview with Professor Nuts or Stitchie if you can get it to hear their side of things Lecturer has mentioned. Of course I do not know Prof Nuts personally but he is without doubt in the top 10 DJs of all time on sound system. I would pay to listen to Lec right now on a sound system today. Man looking after women and women looking after the house may happen in the Islands but in America/ Europe most black women are independent moneywise and do their own thing. Nearly all men including myself have made mistakes during their life and I admire Lec's honesty in admitting his mistakes plus wanting to find love from a woman. Lec is 100% correct in his reggae Museum comments - In America Graceland pays homage to Elvis and it brings in millions a year. In New Orleans they celebrate Jazz, etc all year round. I predict that a White businessman will build a great reggae museum before any Jamaican will and make millions in profit. We blacks as a whole take reggae for granted and dont cherish it enough.

Wow. It took me two days. I always said that man can chat and he proved me right. I don't know him but I know music. I've asked many times what happened to him? I thought he was in Jamaica. The Letter is my favorite from him. He seems very much like a credible person. Giving praises/credit where it's due. Telling the negative without hate. I agree with him regarding the museum. I've thought about it before and even while listening to this. I disagree though with letting the government do it. Too much control in their hands. If I had the money I would do it. I stop at the Chris Blackwell reggae museum in Ocho once. I didn't go in after i heard it was owned by a white man. I was disgusted. We need to do better with/for ourselves. I'm ready to go and see it now. I hope it's still open. Thanks Muscle and Lecturer to the great interview.

Listening to this guy named Lectures I remembered him when he came on the scene as a young DJ, that song Punany too sweet. The 1st DJ I heard do in the dance was General Echo, he is not the father of slackness. Like what you are hearing people saying, the 1st singer in Jamaica 🇯🇲 that sang a slackness song. Was Prince Buster, wrecka Pum,Pum in the 1960s and then there a female singer named Nora Dean did some slackness songs, Barwire inner under pants 👖 in 1968. That song by Nora Dean Barwire inner your under pants 👖, all now it is very hot 🔥 song.I useto dance to that song in the 1960s as a teenager, he said that he is from Waterhouse. People called from Three miles Olympic way Cockburn Pen,Towerhill Waterhouse. But it is big difference between Waterhouse and those areas he is talking about, the place have different sections. But they just called the entire areas Waterhouse, but if him did really knows the area,he would realized. That he is not living in Waterhouse, and the whole is called Kingston 11,but it is really St,Andrew west. I useto lived in that area from 1968 as a teenager going to King Tubbys Hi-fi power sound system, when UROY was the number DJ there and. Living Down by Cockburn Pen.I lived in Waterhouse before any of those singers, started to sing.Man like Black Uru, Junior Reid, Half Points, just to named a few of them was all school boys. Then in the 1970s a few singers started to emerged, but the DJ in the 1970s who useto run the place from the 1960s. Was UROY, Iroy, Dennis Alcapone, King Stitch, then Big Youth came in the early 1970s, Trevor Ranking, Ranking Joe, UBrown,Early B,but the two young DJS in the 1970s useto run Jamaica musically. Was General Echo and Wilton Irie,Echo was called the father of slackness. I and Echo was born in the same year in the 1950s, but I am a couple months older than him. Then you have other young DJS in the 1970s like Charlie Chapplin, Brigadier Jerry, Josey Wales, Yellow man, just to mentioned a few of them. What useto happened in the 1970s when tapes recorders came in,so guys useto go to a dance and tapes music. Becaused most of the DJS back then wasn't recording any songs, only DJ them on sound system and. Some of them useto study other people songs, then go to the studio 🎙 with it and. Then claiming to say is them write ✍ the songs them, I remembered those days. From the 1960s also 70s in the early days when Machukie the 1st Jamaican DJ and then King Stitch 🤴 before UROY came on the scene, King Stitch was. The very 1st DJ in Jamaica 🇯🇲 to be crowded as king of the dance 💃, before any other DJS. He useto hotter than Daddy UROY in the 1960s also early 1970s, I useto dance to him a deejay back then. When you listened to these younger generation DJS, they are not saying that is certain people really inspiring them at all. They are behaving like is them doing this 1st,and I know that all of the younger generation DJS them. Copying the older DJS styles, is them, also is them they got the inspiration from. I cannot remembered that most of the DJS them in Jamaica, never useto talk slackness before they move to roots and culture. I missed out on some of my DJS them, man like Sassafras called the horse 🐎 man, Luwie Leppkie,Peter Metro, all of those DJS that is talking 👄. Like they are great, they only come on the scene when General Echo died in 1980,when he also the owner of Sterophanic named big John, also the operator Flux died.It is really good to see some of younger generation DJ ,is still around. He came in the 1980s, he wasn't too bad at all.

Big head Lecturer. One of the great deejays from the 80s. Respect to him and his contribution to Dancehall but I do not respect when he commented on a Professor Nuts video I posted on my channel years ago and he called Nuts a pussy. I said "no, you are. don't diss the professor." At first I didn't know it was Lecturer who made the comment but I clicked on the channel and saw a video he made talking about professor nuts and someone who I guess was pretending to be lecturer but it was another deejay by the name of Little Lecturer. It's a video from 21 years ago with Nuts clashing Little Lec. He didn't like when professor said "me mek every Lecturer" and some other stuff about how nuts badmind, wanted to clash Lecturer back in the 80s and whatever. We don't need no disrespect in the music business. There must be unity because we can't expect new yutes in the music to unite if we don't set an example. Whatever f**kry that happened back in the days forget that sh*t and move on.
