Since the symbolism used in magick is most of the time taken from religious traditions, the question "What Is Religion?" has some importance for practical magick. Very powerful video.I have seen a word 'religare' which means to 'to bind,to tıe' in Latin(a very possible derivation of Religion),also meaning to send away; banish.This is really showing how a person can have his or her mind bound.I always wanted to know if the Magician is more equipped(superior) than a Religious person.

Jonas Kgomo Thank you. In the context of most religions there are believers and those that "make believe", i.e. the priests and preachers. Basically, those preachers and priests are magicians, they tell the believers what to believe. Naturally, those are more powerfull than the people whose believe they have controll over.
