Windows Server 2012 R2 DHCP Configuration

Visit lecturesnippets... for the full post. In this video I setup the DHCP role on my domain controller. This will hand out IP addresses to client computers on my network. It also informs the clients of the Gateway and DNS addresses to use on the network.

Hi have a Window 2012 Server, I need to change my existing DHCP pool IP address to a new one. How to do it? I went to DHCP Server, find ipv4, I can't edit from there? Do I need to delete old DHCP Ip address and add a new one? Thanks.

ah yes, the dhcp is weird for this kind of stuff, delete the scope and make a new one. If it is greyed out make sure to do it from the left side menu thingy. If you would like to change your domain controllers ip adress go to control panel>network and sharing centre>configure ur ethernet>then go to ipv4>and then manually assign an ip adress, hope it helps 👍
