Anton Van Leeuwenhoek didn't invent the microscope, it was Zacharias Janssen. Leeuwenhoek was the first (known) person to have observed cells.

And, James Watson and Francis Crick did not discover DNA, they confirmed that it is the molecule responsible for the coding of genetic information.

+Jake Stein Hi Jake, big thanks for your comment. Questioning viewers like you always help us to improve our videos. Great, keep that attitude up! Because as Diderot once said, "scepticism is the first step towards truth". Nevertheless we have talked to Kevin Ahern and made some research about your issues and our sources came up with different findings. We think that with any early technology, there is always debate about who is “first.” Van Leeuwenhoek essentially made the first functional microscope, though Janssen may have had a role. Here is a Wikipedia quote on that topic in order to demonstrate the controversy about this issue: Zacharias Janssen (also Zacharias Jansen or Sacharias Jansen) (1585 - pre-1632) was a Dutch spectacle-maker from Middelburg associated with the invention of the first optical telescope. Janssen is sometimes also credited for inventing the first truly compound microscope. However, the origin of the microscope, just like the origin of the telescope, is a matter of debate. As for DNA, we think that there might be some misunderstanding. At about 2:30 Mr. Ahern states that the DNA was discovered by Friedrich Miescher. At about 4:30 he just says that Watson/Crick were able for the first time to show the structure of DNA. So the history of DNA discovery and research was a history of many smaller and bigger steps. From first discovery(isolation), to the first theory about DNA carrying genetic information to the description of the double-helix model by Watson/Crick. I hope we shed some light on this issue and you agree with the fact that making true statements about discoveries that date back hundreds of years isn't always passoble at all. Thanks again and kind greetings!

I think the first and the primitive microphone was invented by Zacharias Janssen . After that It(obviously another microscope) was made by Robert Hooke under which he only saw and observed DEAD Cork cells of Oak tree. Followed by it, The first LIVING cells were observed by A.Von Leeawonhoek(apology if did spelling mistake) for the first time by his self made magnifying glasses and microscopes...
