LED Digital clock showing half digit | missing digit | how to repair.

A client brought ajanta digital clock which had a missing character in one of the hour digit, the device appeared to be a seven segment LED device but it wasn't so...when i disassembled the clock i found that it is a common anode LED circuit design. watch the whole video till the end to get the problem solved.

Why's need tape for the way

The coating on PCB was peeling and copper tracks were exposed so tape was used to avoid short circuit. Thank you, have a GOODTIME...

My led clock half of the digits sometimes it goes bright to normal then sometimes it goes very dim what could be the issue please ?

Hi, may be there is some dry solder joint or corrosion on some component usually resistors, need to trace the voltages at different stages. Thank you, have a GOODTIME....
