They also have a tendency to put a "Gnostic" label on any movie or film that in their view shows God in an opposite light even when there is no such message present in the product discussed. Recently the Mario movie received such a treatment from them. In their "review" they literally said that Bowser is a Demiurge figure while in the context of the film and the Mario games in general he always been the classical Dragon or Satan kind of figure (If you want to apply the Bible allegory to it).

Great breakdown. Before watching this, I actually knew nothing about Dragonball. But yeah, even besides this, LED is a treasure trove of misinformation. Personally, I don't think everything they say is wrong. I have been a bit fascinated by some of the things they say about gnosticism in films like The LEGO Movie and The Matrix (though even still, the parallels don't match up completely). But they're so desperate to point at something and call it satanic they'll take ridiculous stretches to say so. In one of their recent videos, they tried to explain how Thor is supposed to represent Satan because he was "cast out" of heaven. They point to a scene in Thor 3 where Hela says "It seems like our father's solution to everything was to cover it up" and state that it's a parallel to how Jesus covered our sins with His blood. I burst with laughter at that moment. I left a comment on that video explaining how the parallels all fall apart in the context of the story. Though LED didn't respond, other people did saying things like "These attributes are intentionally granted to the hero to make Satan more sympathetic". While I do hope LED comes to their senses eventually, I have more pity for their followers. The thing is, there definitely is media out there that's satanic and allegorically satanic and deserves to be called out. But the way LED goes about it leads people to believe that virtually everything is satanic, even if the content and message of such things have nothing to do with satanism at all.

this actually reminds me of a character from an anime called Arifureta named Amanogawa Kouki, who deludes himself to his morals and self righteousness towards his own classmates and in another world, where it isn't truly helping him. I bring him up as LED is doing what Kouki is doing, twisting what is in their face about Dragonball and saying what suits them for the sake of their faith when it doesn't do them any service, just like how Kouki would twist people's words into his own delusion of heroism. it is insane to say that Goku is Satan when he fights enemies that actively wants to either dominate or destroy. it is blatant to see that Goku is good of heart, even if he fights for sport and wishing to becoming stronger, striving to better himself as a martial artist.

I have a question, what is your thoughts about One Piece and it’s Christian visuals? After viewing the Sky Island, I think they can go either two ways with it. 1) Gnosticism inspiration …. My personal view on the Sky Island arc is that it's an arc that goes on WAY too long and gets stale after a while. But as far as a Christian perspective is concerned, Eneru is clearly not a god nor is he an allegory for the Christian God. He thinks he's a God because he's so powerful, but that just implies a literal god complex. I think you could technically make an argument for Gnosticism in One Piece as it implies the highest authority in the land (the World Government) is actually malicious. Buuuut I don't think One Piece is necessarily that in depth, and I certainly don't think it's intentionally trying to be some kind of allegory for religion as LED likes to claim everything is. And the Revelation argument, that I actually believe to some extent. I believe that the actual One Piece is, in reality, a plan to destroy the Red Line Continent where it intersects the Grand Line, thus destroying both the World Government seat of power and also destroying Fish Man Island. This will merge the seas together so that a new world and new creation can spring up...which could be a close connection to God creating a new world. However, I think it's silly to try and draw Christian parallels from all forms of media. I think we can take Christian lessons from media, but to try and compare it all to Christianity is just going to exhaust most people.

In jojo touch many Bible connects. many of the main jojo villian are presented as heavenly beings. One jojo villian Is name Dio, the Italian word for God. However Dio Brando to closer relate by character design to the beast of Revelation for they have many similarities. Now there is a lot of lore, so I given some summary to jojo lore. Frist I going to talk two jojo villian Kars and Divaolo, who are like Satan with all three being prideful and belive they are greater than God/Fate. Kars was born perfect in every way but it wasn't enough like Satan. Divaolo ruling from shadow but no one know he exists, aka Devil greatest trick is making you believe he doesn't exist. Ultimately All three receive ultimate punishment for their pride. Satan living in the burning lake, Kars is stuck forze in outer space, and Divaolo is suffering an eternal death loop. Dio Brando and Beast of Revelation 1: Both would rise from the sea of Humanity. 2: Both received their power from the dragon aka Satan/ Kars with the stone mask which turn Dio into a vampire and Divaolo the stand arrows which Dio receives a stand power to stop time. 3: Each would receive a fatal wound but return stronger. Dio Brando was reduced to a head with his last battle with frist jojo aka Jonathan Joestar but return with a new found powers with his stand: Za WARUDO! 4: Both would amass many followers and receive the beast mark 666. Dio giving flesh bub on their forehead to the most questionable loyalty, but his is very charmful to convince his follower with his looks and deep thoughts. 5: Both will speak blasphemy against God/Fate for their own ends. Pucci/Kira would be the anti Christ. Appearing greater and good on the outside but deep down corrupt, each seeking to have the world in their images. Kira wants a quiet life but commit murders to have his fun and reward by his hand feish. Pucci is a Catholic priest who met Dio Brando in his early life, the two became friends sharing their thoughts on philosophy and Fate/gravity. One day Pucci learn his dead brother is actually alive and is unknowingly dating their sister. Instead of telling outright because he learned the truth through a confession by the kidnapper (Which he wasn'tsuppose to do since he was still a studentand not yet a priest. He try to break the relationship between his brother and sisters without breaking any vow. However he accidentally and unknowingly hired a killer mob who nearly killed his brother and Pucci sister committed suicide. Pucci in his lowest moments, wondering why this happened. At that moment, his fate was seal. He would resent the universe so everyone would know their fate and come to term with it before it happened. I can't image how LED will twist the stories. Calling Jojo devils sevrent for looking like trouble makers and fighting the heavenly villains. Jojo make it clear who is good and who is evil. Jonathan Joestar is rich kid but his attitude is to best gentleman ever with a strong sense of justice. his first sence was defending a girl getting bully and he gotten beaten up by the bullies so they leave the girl alone. Then there Dio Brando who live a hard life, using his brain and intelligence to survive the street of landon, living with his cruel drunk father. When the frist two met, Jonathan try to nice to Dio which was respond with Dio acting cruelty toward Jonathan since Dio plan to steal Joestar fortune for himself. However, Dio learned that Jonathan is quite the pushover as Jonathan learns, adapt and grow stronger. Dio change tactics knowing he can't bully Jonathan to get what he wants. Eventually both gain power, Jonathan learning hamon, breathing power, of harassing life energy like the sun to fight vampire. Jonathan potential with hamon was great he can restore life to a dead tree. But his accomplishments was happening a vampire regain his soul. Dio Brando on the other hand take power whenever he could archive, using a stone mask to turn himself into a vampire. In the end, Dio kills Jonathan but Jonathan had succeeded saving his wife, his unborn child, and another bady to live another day. Dio is actually surprised he succeeded killing his brother, Jonathan.

My grandmother would actually agree with everything they said. She believes that since her church is the original all other faiths, mythologies, or ideas that dont follow her churches ideology is just seacret cults trying to destroy Christianity (she includes Buddhism of all things as a devil faith). I love her, but she has a habit of believeing almost every idea thats comes from someone of her faith or wherever she gets these ideas, she has claimed that 9/11, the sinking of Titanic, the existance of dinosaurs like the T-rex, are all just government psy-ops meant to confuse people and destroy Christianity. The human mind is fun, huh.
