There is one controversy that I have for years since Dragon Ball Super began and before the Tournament of Power arc is Goku and Vegeta hogging over the spotlight. The Z Fighters had been sidelined and Gohan was getting weaker instead of embracing his potential. He, along with Piccolo, Krillin, Roshi, Tien, and Piccolo, to bea prominent character again They can’t keep relying on the two Saiyans to fight their own battles.

Dragon Ball went downhill after the Cell saga, when Toriyama gave in to outcries of Goku fantards, and sidelined every character other than Goku and Vegeta, and yes, that includes Gohan, Goten, and Trunks. It was a terrible moral message, and the whole Buu saga suffered from it, not to mention GT, and especially Super. His original plan was having Gohan end this saga, but he scrapped it, and only said Gohan “just wasn’t fitting for the role”, without ever explaining why. Pitiful cop out to a total pushover decision.

Super's "rough start" lasted until the last episode. Roshi did nothing wrong. The complainers need to shut up and keep out of the scene. GT's American rap intro was the only good thing about GT in general. Evolution should be forgotten. Evolution as Dragon Ball Z is the same as saying the Tristar Godzilla movie was a Godzilla movie. The latter was obviously enjoyable though. Dubbing issues can be fixed by just not dubbing. People need to learn how to read subtitles.

That first english dub you talk about, although not as bad is similar to what in parts of Latin América had to take (for a time) with most of the all DB and DBZ movies that were dubbed in Latin American Spanish a while later than the series, and until that the only version we were able to find in video club stores were Spanish dubs from Spain.

Vic lost the defamation suit he had filed against Jamie Marchi for a threat she made towards him on Twitter. The case was dropped because the girl who accused him had admitted to lying about it, and no evidence other than hearsay was presented. I've listened to Monica Rial and Jamie Marchi's two episode podcast on the case and even they said the SA case had been dropped, but Vic lost the lawsuit he had filed against Jamie. But, like I had said, I never expected you all to do any research. 😂

I am so glad I got to experience Dragon Ball, Dragon Ball Z, and even Dragon Ball GT in the Latin American/Spanish subs. Even the intro and outro song sound really familiar to the original Japanese audio. And watching the Frieza saga in sleep over like manner, with a big group of friends has being an amazing experience growing up.

Honestly, I’m gonna get some heat, but it’s the fact that a lot of people Lake overlook the fact that the dragon Bazzi voice actors have said, homophobic slurs, and I’ve gotten dangerously close to saying the N-word is laughable. The voice actor for Goku has literally no range all of these characters on the same the same thing with Vegeta. Dragon ball Z’s voice actors are protected.
