LED Ford Explorer Emblem? Yes please!!! Step by step how to install video

Let me know what you think in the comments below. Dope or nope? I got bored of the plain Ford emblem so I switched it out for a black one with a white LED built into it. I show you how I installed this, step by step, in my wife's 2015 Explorer limited.

In case you are looking for it elsewhere, the measurements for the front Ford emblem of an 2015 explorer is 9.0" inches long by 3.5" inches tall. Also, in case you need a point of reference for comparison, this emblem cost me $75.

That looks badass, my only worried is the double-sided tape. I would prefer for it to have the same mounting mechanism as the stock.

I gwt that. Its been 6 months and living in miami with heat index over 100 and plenty of rain and I could tell you not a wiggle with the double sided tape.

It can be done, it just involves removing the front grill so you have access to the two 10mm bolts.

Did the white match led headlights and parklamps? I ask beside I bought one of these for my Edge Sport and the white is dull like a warm white almost yellow. Looks terrible against all my white led's in the front. I returned it.

Looks good. Is it only on though when you activating it with the key fob? Or is it on all the time as long as the headlights are on?

It is the stock grill as her trim level is the limited. I believe the limited's had body color matched grills where as the base and the xlt's had a standard grey/silver overlay.

hey Tim....I am not sure if anywhere have back emblem but I know there is chrome that says explorer at back that fully change to 3 lights left/right and center as explorer...it is there at ebay

Nice video but you needed to show the final look for longer than a few seconds. We can't tell how what it looks like all finished.
