We have a 2022 Sierra with LED lights and had a 2018 tundra with LED lights and now I’m spoiled! Our 2008 gx 470 needs these so thanks for the review!

Installed as week ago and super easy! I did have to unscrew the battery mounts and slide it back and sideways to put them in on that side but did not have to take the battery out. Smooth and easy. Great video! I have a random question. Did you do any modifications to get a sharp cutoff from your low beams or is that the stock beam pattern? My 06 GX cutoff looks nothing like yours and I'm jealous haha.

Thats how projectors work, mine do it too. Usually only notice on really dark, smooth roads when theres a hill in front of me.

@@HawkeyeSkunkWorks I saw one where you took it completely apart to put in a rectangular light bar inside. I just want to be able to put in a bulb like your show here for the low and high beams. But so far I have tried a few and all are a weak grey glow. The original incandescents were actually bright and useful.

So the hi beam are the ones with the orange collar? I got them in and trying this weekend!

compare the model numbers to bulbs as you take them out.

@@HawkeyeSkunkWorks I confirmed. The ORANGE collars (H11) are the LOW beams and the WHITE collars (9005) are the HIGH BEAMS. Opposite of what you said on the video and showed at about 5:30 to 5:40. The orange collar is there in the low slot but technically "higher" on the physical mount". The high beams are at the bottom and the white collars. Lasfit told me this direct and confirmed with ads and pics. Installing this week as I just did the Nilight Fog Replacements last weekend. You have GREAT suggestions I am following. Thanks!

6000K : The "K" in this instance stands for the color temperature in degrees "Kelvin".

Not really, especially when adjusted correctly. These headlight housings are already HID projectors so LED is just fine bulbs are just fine.
