I'm installing the Fahren Ternitors in my Volt. Similar design. I wonder what the differences are? Did you put the driver inside the housing? I'm debating if I should install it externally by trimming some plastic to let the wires out.

I stuffed all the wires inside the housing. So far so good. I was wondering though if there would be heat issues but nothing so far.

Yes. I just tucked them in and put the cap on.

I installed these Fahren Forenner lights in my volt and there is an unusually loud sound when the lights dip between low and high beam. Do yours do the same?

No, they don't. That is weird. I may be wrong, but I think high and low beams are done using some sort of shade that drops and rises in the light. I wonder if something is hitting that.

So you showed the Allen wrench, but you didn't show what it was for, more did you mention checking the led bulbs adjusted to face 9&3 o'clock. Plus no mention of aiming the headlights. ☹️

The video was about the lights and upgrading to LED and not about the install. I say that multiple times in the video. Install is easy and is detailed in the little paper insert with the lights. Aiming the headlights is a whole different issue. That would be done with the light housing, not the bulbs. Hope that helps.

It went great. I did not video that, but the lights are not too bright but they are much much better than the stock lights. No issues to date and you can't hear them at all.
