This is a Review of the Mopzlink Color Changing LED Pool Light on Amazon. However, there are a hundred different ones that all seem to be the same. This LED pool light works amazing. I would recommend it to anyone with a pool.

We broke our pool light cause we turned it on wall it was drained we want to replace it but it's far too expensive would you recommend this?

I do recommend this. I have been using this light all summer and I really like it! It’s nice to be able to change the colors. I like the Red best because it doesn’t attract the bugs when you swim at night. Plus, since it’s LED it saves on electricity!

HEY ROSCO, I bought the Spa light with this Remote. It will not change - so it appears the remote is not connecting. Any suggestions? the remote'a red led light flashes when pressing any button ( think this means the battery has power). I have placed the remote in the water with in a foot of the light but no luck.

I actually rarely use the remote. If it works the same way as the pool lights, you can switch between the colors by toggling it off and back on. Flipping the switch on and off a few times until you reach the desired color.

I have a Sta Rite Model Sunglow 05534 & 05554 which is 20+ years old. Will this new LED color changing bulb fit in my housing?

I’m not sure what the size of that fixture is. This bulb uses a standard (medium) base socket. The bulb is a little bigger than a standard flood light.

I have 2 lights in my pool and 1 in the spa, can 1 remote work them all?

I believe the same remote will do them all, however the remote has to be pretty close to the light to work. So changing them all at once maybe not. The colors can also be changed by flipping the light switch off and back on. That should change them all at once if they are on the same switch. Also, once you have the color you want, if you switch them off it will remember what color it was on when you turn them back on again (unless you do the quick off and back on to change the color)… sorry, that’s a little weird to explain. Lol

If my cord isn’t long enough for the light to come out of the water, is draining the pool the only option?

Unfortunately, if the light wasn’t installed properly and the cord doesn’t reach out of the water, then you will have to drain the pool down far enough to be able to open it up above the water level.

Are most Pool light standard size. We recently noticed water inside our light. Does the mean the glass is open?

If it’s a Pentair (or that style) then it should be standard size. If there is water in it than it than it may have a bad gasket. So I would start with replacing that. It’s probably Pentair too. They are extremely common. When you open it up you will want to replace the gasket too. Here is a link for those. amzn.to/44FbkXj

No. The remote works through the water. You do need to Stand fairly close to the light so the signal can go through the water though. You can also change the colors by using the switch for the light. If you turn it off and back on quickly it will cycle to the next color.

If you leave it on red it will attract far fewer bugs. That is precisely the reason I wanted a color changing light!

Yes. You can turn the light on and off with the remote. Assuming that the switch to the light is left on all the time.

I got about 2 and a half out of my first one. which I didn't think was too bad. I may try a different brand when I open the pool this year. there are a bunch of different ones on amazon, but they all appear to be pretty much the same thing. probably all made in the same factory in china. lol
