The ports of LED Storm are actually based of an earlier version of the game (I'm pretty sure it was the location test version called 2011 Rally: LED Storm). That's why the cars look different and why the cars could transform into a bike. Both the final and location test versions are in MAME (also the Japanese/ true final version: Mad Gear).

Be far better if they had sorted the dreadful almost flip screen side scrolling . Should of had some nice parrallax and silky smooth scrolling on the amiga. Another lazy port that the amiga was plagued with back in the day. If it wasn't for the massive panel on right side it wouldnt of even needed to scroll lol Love the music by Tim follin

This music makes me think of Rock 'n Roll Racing. Doesn't really go with the game here imo--I think it actually sounds too real for the very basic visuals, and maybe more simple arcadey FM music would make more sense--but still very nice and catchy.

Conversion port of Mad Gear. Led Storm was the prototype before Capcom decided on Mad Gear (Early prototypes it was Rally 2011 LED Storm) some of the elements stayed while others like the car change modes were scrapped in the official arcade release.
