Oh yeah. Johnny ramone cites jimmy page as “the most important rock guitarist to ever live” and one his main inspirations. Joey ramone was a huge Motörhead and AC/DC fan. Hard rock was a massive influence on the punk scene for sure. This could have easily been a ramones video

It was a 1960 Les Paul fully customised by Jimmy to have a push/pull switch so he had way more options using it on stage. It got stolen early on in the bands career and was returned to him only a couple of years ago. The customisations he’d made had been removed to try and disguise the guitar. Gibson did make some replicas with Jimmys help to get the sound right, and they go for a small fortune now. Look on reverb and you’ll see what I mean.

And it was stolen around 1971 during a flight/tour. Apparently returned but not the same. Learning about the black beauty in 2009 was eye opening.
