Say it with me folks... "The Greatest Rock Band of all Time"
@Cincinnatus18692 жыл бұрын
When I hear stuff like Tangerine, Rock and Roll, Dazed and Confused, Wanton Song , Tea For One , Stairway to Heaven etc . , I think they were twice as good as any band of their era. Their versatility was astonishing.

Jimmy is an alchemist, he choose the perfect four elements to create this eternal musical Magick. Zep masterpieces are in my blood forever.
@Cincinnatus18692 жыл бұрын
@@maryjvanderwerken3192 you know you are onto something as a musician when your material is so good that you are accused of having supernatural assistance to create it 😆 I can understand why some people thought Page was a wizard though. I love lots of music , all genres but I can say honestly that no other rock group has moved me in the same way or made me feel like I was hearing something that is truly inspired . Music is art and it is all a matter of taste but I actually feel sorry for any rock music fan who doesn't appreciate or 'get' Led Zeppelin.

Dazed and Confused was a plagiarism issue
@Cincinnatus18692 жыл бұрын
@@jonblackers4339 true but the things that made the song stand out had nothing to do with the original. It evolved from the weird 'cover' the Yardbirds did . Page should have acknowledged Jake Holmes but there was no doubt that Page produced a stellar arrangement that left both Holmes version and the Yardbirds' in the dirt. .

This has to be one of the best Led Zeppelin documentaries I've seen to date, and I'm a huge fan. I live for this kind of stuff! It contains a lot of original footage, (At least, 'original to me'.), and the interviews with the band members are personal, informative, and just amazing. Thank you so much Mark Zep for, once again, providing us with this exceptional and rare "time-capsulized moment" from the archives of undeniably, the greatest rock band there ever was, and that, likely, there will ever be. You rock, dude!

Yes, i am the same, i am always looking for rare Zeppelin footage, that i havnt seen, i like the conversations from the band members, because they explain the music in a way that is easy to understand, there will never ever be a band like Zeppelin, thay stand alone, & in decades to come they will be spoken about in the same way as Beethoven, Mozart, & czhaikovsky.
@jamescameron277 Жыл бұрын
@@francishughes2016 I'm thinking more like "centuries to come". They're difinitely one ne of the few. Like The Beatles, Pink Floyd, Queen perhaps. Only Lec Zeppelin is far and away, better than all those bands.

There’s no filler tracks on any of their albums . They’re all fantastic tracks some more memorable than others . But that’s just being subjective . The body of work they produced in 10 years is phenomenal & doesn’t age . It’s still just as relevant today

Oh yeh! Those were the days. My #1 band of all time and omg - the memories that went with it. My wild youth. 1971 and 2022 now - where did the time go? But this music can take me back in a heartbeat - I can still feel it all. Love Led Zeppelin 💗

Led Zeppelin were remarkable as both a band and a musical movement. All you have to do is look at how many bands sounded like Led Zeppelin in both style and sound in the 1970's, to see the absolutely enormous influence they had on everything musical in those days. It's a stunning legacy they left in their wake. Whenever I hear my now 20 year old son blasting Led Zeppelin on his music player of choice, I always get a little smile on my face.

F.. ng phenomenal. Brilliant. Excellent interviews! Jimmy Page and JPJ talkIng music, their passion and knowledge... I could listen to Robert Plant talk about anything,just like his singing. Robert is here with his usual intelligence, candor & humor . As for the super & soreky missed John Henry Bohnam? I teared up a bit on the Bonzo part. As a Drummer, I miss hime every day I play. But I think the last time tears came was the day he died, and the ensuing weeks afterwards. This will impress even a life-long all-things -Zeppelin Historian.. Like me. Terrific Video.. "I wanna Thank You" Mark Zep. ❤🎉🎸🥁🎤🎹

In through the out door is a good record, Jimmy doesn't care for it because he was there (heroin) to me that's John Paul's record with plant helping him, and Bonham slowly adding his his drums. Its still a good record. Presence i didn't like definitely didn't like, "For your life" and "Achilles last stand" were brilliant tracks.. otherwise the bloody album sucx..lol..cool cover art thou. Zeppelin lV is my favourite record. Zep were collage artists, the best at it. Pink Floyd is my band 👍🏻 they are absolutely brilliant.

I dont particularly care for how he sang Stairway Live. sometimes the timing would be off, lack of pronunciation & emphisis in places. Came off a bit flat & lack luster at times but the band still delivered the magic & Ive mostly adapted to it sounding ok to me live. Not to say Im insulting or degrading his vocal in any way. Live is rarely solid as studio. ... Just stating Im not a fan of how he sang Stairway, live.
