stunning sound but I guess either you or youtube distort the loud parts. Sounds like the rec level was in red

If it's loud or distorted ,it should be the right version,according to a search it was mastered to be as hot as possible and should skip according to the story about the original pressings.When the head of Atlantic heard it skip on his daughters record player ,they recut it with lower levels,per Ludwig himself.per the Led Zeppelin forum page.See the post about his response about mastering question.Hope that helps.

After listening your version I went on forums and educated myself )) It happened that all my life I was listening some other version )) Now I know about RL ) Better late than never. Although Classic Records version I enjoyed more since it's closer to what I get used to, less harsh
