They least an old country cottage that was more like a mansion. They recorded several songs there and a song named after it using the Rolling Stones mobile recording studio. When The Levee Breaks was recorded there with John's drums set up in the four story stairwell, microphones at different levels and then ran through a compression device. The drum sound became one of the most influential and sampled drum sounds in Hip Hop. There's a video that talks about, it's called How Zeppelin Influenced Hip Hop, I think 🤔 Great reaction.

You should listen to the 2007 version and the studio, but I am glad you used this EC 75 version. Having someone say you're 1 in a million once is so much better than never having anyone say it and Thank You back atcha' . It's great your channel is growing, LZ fans will always find and stay for genuine reactors. Good luck and may your channel exceed all your expectations. I like your calm, laid back style, I like your ramblings and sense of humour ( but wouldn't be surprised if others did not lol) Either way, I'm sure you'll be able to handle any flak that inevitably will follow as your channel grows. Headley Grange is the name of the country house LZ used to record When the Levee Breaks (and other songs) with JB's drums positioned in the stairwell.

I am looking forward to the 2007 version. I am listening to this a few more times before that. Unfortunately, lying doesn't come easily to me. But what's true and better is that you are more than one in a million. It takes a great mind to recognize greatness. 😄😄 Thank you for the good wishes. Is your mind blown? This is one of my two favorite live songs, & I watch it often. The place you are thinking of is called Headley Grange, they rented the estate, they all stayed there wrote & recorded songs from several of their albums. Black Dog was named after a black Labrador that hung out around the estate. Bonham’s amazing drum sound was recorded in the 3 story entrance (it’s called many different things, depends where people are from). They used a traveling recording studio that belongs to The Rolling Stones. It was kind of a rundown estate & had no heat, & it was in the winter. There’s great footage of them hanging outside, & shows the black dog that hung out with them. So many great interviews that each or together have done, you learn so much watching them. Thanks again for your reaction, I’m glad you loved this amazing performance.

Totally. I have and am listening to it a few more times before going for the 2007 version. Can't wait. And thank you, I think some images from the documentary came back as you mentioned these interesting facts. It was maybe 13 years ago.
