If you've listened to all the albums, and all their studio tracks, you still wouldn't "know" Zep. The albums and studio recordings were a snapshot of those songs in time, frozen in time at that point....but those tracks grew and evolved in their live shows into something much more. It was live in concert where Zep really thrived....feeding off each other and the audience, taking on any song, growing them, stretching them out, and always doing it spontaneously. If you really want to know Zep, you need to know them live.

I love this song! I learned it through rewatching the movie so many times, I didn’t have a record. Robert Plant covered “Young Boy Blues” later with the Honeydrippers. (Both songs by Ben E King).

Great reaction, RT!! SOOO GLAD you've gotten into the bootlegs and live audio. It's a whole different thing from the studio albums -They often did covers at their concerts - straight up or incorporated into their songs - especially 50's stuff that they all loved. There are some great rehearsal recordings out there AND recorded pre show sound checks where they just jam away to whatever they feel like playing - Here's are a few links to one of those soundchecks from 1973 - so awesome!
