oh man youre missing out. I went on it about 25 times last summer when I went to Myrtle Beach with my cousins. You get to listen to whole Lotta Love and ride an awesome roller coaster at the same time!

They just announced that the park was bought and will be open this summer...i hope they can keep this ride the same

Family Kingdom did get another coaster for their park called Twist n Shout. It's like a Wild Mouse coaster. The Pavilion site along ocean blvd would b perfect to re-locate the Led Zeppelin to!

@Tjtjboy Rumor is that the park originally cost 400 Million t build. After it went bankrupt, it was bought for 25 million, but it was agreed that the new owners would pay off debts owed for the rides. Even with the discounted prices, and increased traffic, the new company was unable to meet 3rd quarter payments. The current owners were looking for additional partners for more capital, but with the economy, they havent been able to find any. This being the case, the park didnt open this year.

They should move the Led Zeppelin coaster over where the original Pavilion once stood. Have the lift hill go over Ocean Blvd., and the loops and such where the rides once stood / park once was. That would be awesome if they did that!

My mom used to work here when they opened as hard rock park. I went just about every weekend and rode it a total of 112 times. I made this ride my bitch lmao!

@Tjtjboy LIcensing issues. The new owners knew that they could not afford to pay (either 100,000 or more) Hard Rock Corp, for the use of the Logo and intellectual properties (HRC owned the name and effects for this and all rides).

@Guitarlord5 Its a shame that you missed it! Unfortunately you missed your chance to ride it. Due to a combination of poor pricing and the economy falling, this park went bankrupt before the end of the first season. Luckily the park was bought out and brought back for a second season. However, since Hard Rock Corp refused to renegotiate usage fees, the new owners could not afford to keep the name, and was renamed to Free Style Music Park. This change came at a price, all rides changed.

@LaNora13 by the looks of things the park will soon be liquidated. Apparently the current owners cannot find "new money" to bring into it. It was reported that they will probably have to liquidate the park to pay off the companies that supplied the rides. Which is a real shame. In my opinion if the original owners had not been so greedy and had a better ticket price, this park would have made it.

@vaibanez17 In a town built for tourists, and everyone fighting for your business, would you pay $50.00 per person, for a park that only had 13 or 14 rides? Which not all were in working condition yet, (yeah I did the first time, a month later it had dropped to $35 for residents). And the Second season with the new owers they were running specials for early entry (before 4) of 2 for 20.00 (after 4pm 20.00 ea). Unfortunately they had a bad rep already for being over priced.

It looks like the smiler at Alton Towers except it isn’t black and yellow it is white and it plays Led Zeppelin whole lotta love. The smiler plays ha ha ha because it makes you HaPpY

@wicced29418 Very true. It was a great idea and looked like a great place but they didn't have enough stuff. It wasn't really in Myrtle Beach either it was north of there in Conway I think. I don't think most people went to Myrtle Beach to go to a theme park anyways and the one they would have went to was torn down in 2006; the worst decision in the history of the city by those evil property owners.

Either that,or if the tight wads over at Family Kingdom would buy it and replace the Swamp Fox with this one it would be great,but that will probably never happen. Sigh.........
