I heard this first when it was issued for sale in 1971 I absolutely loved this. Lie in a dark room and listen to 5his then!! The three gods of heavy rock at that time were Black Sabbath, Led Zeppelin and Deep Purple no group was ever the same again. They seemed to stop listening to the record manufacturers and do their own music and lyric writing and the record companies had to accept it because they didn’t understand what the public actually wanted. Their hold over “Pop music” was almost finished then the dam broke on heavy rock, metal and groups music just exploded from the UK. That started back in 1969 Great Britain was alive with groups expand in on these three groups start! Cheers Aah Kid

Natural disasters like this are always heartbreaking. The original song writers wrote the song in 1929, about the flood of 1927. Kansas Joe McCoy & Memphis Minnie, Led Zeppelin changed it quite a bit, & made the song & story more well known. Led Zeppelin is the name of the band, not just one person. Lead vocals & harmonica is Robert Plant* lead guitarist band founder & producer is Jimmy Page* the bass & keyboards is John Paul Jones* they drummer is John Bonham, known as (Bonzo). They are 4 of the greatest musicians to ever grace this planet. The band played together from late (1968 until September of 1980) sadly the drummer John Bonham passed away, the band knew he couldn’t be replaced. A song I think you’d like is, Since I’ve Been Loving You, live at Madison Square Gardens (1973) it’s another blues song. This band has many many great songs, thank you & enjoy.

So now when this is just under a hundred years old by inspiration, i would tilt more towards the thing, when the levee breaks and you cant carry it anymore ,maybe anger, also when the levee breaks could also mean atomic war in a new interpretation, but i suppose it could simply be what its written fore, the 1927 Catastrophe, but happy guessing, i just like drama😉
