Does the job with no issues in hard pan clay. This thing is a beast. Very heavy. Hard to push when in neutral. If I have more then a few feet to move it. I start it up.

Hi, At the front of the Legend Force Rear Tiller there is a long spring that is wrapped around a metal cable. The spring in my tiller came undone. I'm trying to figure where connects to on both ends? Could you send me a picture of the spring and where it connects at both ends please?

Just subscribed. Thanks for sharing man! Just ordered one. How do you like the other settings furrow, stall, and scarify?
@teklifeadventures7375
@teklifeadventures7375 Жыл бұрын
Furrow works good for planting, creates nice hills for seed. I use that after scarify. Scarify works good to get the dead plants and roots from the top layer of the soil. After that I lower it to dig deeper. Stall stops the tines from rotating.

@teklifeadventures7375 thanks for the quick reply man! I am stoked. Still have a week or so til it arrives at the depot. Any chance u would be willing to make a furrow video? I'm trying to figure out what the tines do differently that create the furrow and ridges; maybe only the center 2 rotate? Thanks for the insight brother

Also I am guessing scarify is the only tilling setting?

No problem. I try to get on every day or two. Doesn't always work out. Furrow setting the tines turn in reverse. All tines turn. I did shoot some video showing furrow. Will see if I can find it. Many peeps give bad reviews as they say it keeps stalling. That's because they dig to deep on first pass. In my bee apiary the soil is good loose black dirt. That just takes one pass. So just keep that in mind. Also this thing is beast and gears are tight, so hard to push. I always start it to move it from garage to where I need it.

It will till in furrow also. Wheels pull forward and tines turn in reverse. Just not as good. Thanks for subscribing.

How is it for tilling "New ground" - not previously tilled?
@teklifeadventures7375
@teklifeadventures7375 Жыл бұрын
This thing is very heavy. Digs untouched ground excellently. I am very pleased with it. I had an area for my bee garden that was clay. It chewed it up with no problem. Made three passes with it. Tried to do it with one pass. It got away from me. Almost pulled me too the ground.

RTT's are very hard to operate when taking deep cuts, they drift in the direction they want to go and the only way to steer (because it's so long and anchored by the tines) is to stop, pick up the HEAVY tines, reverse and change direction.....do that over and over and see how you feel at the end of the job.

Compared to front tine these are way better. Just take shallower bites

@@yamahajapan5351 maybe if it's open ground, but if you have to till close to plants ,forget it, front tine tillers are waaaay less work.

Never had a problem with control or drift. Easy to turn. I just lift on the handle and turn. Not lifting the whole thing. Digs much better than front tines for the price.

@@TomTom-qh2qm I borrowed an earthquake rtt from my neighbor and tilled my garden (36 inch wide spaced rows) and it was a frigging wrestling match to not till my plants under...then I went and bought a Troy built Colt ftt and I could till within an inch of where I wanted. If you like them that's cool. All I'm saying is they're not as easy to operate as advertised.

Can get away from you. As soon as you let go of the trigger you hold down, the tines stop fast.

If you try to dig too deep on one pass it does stall. In hard pan clay I made three passes and it did the job. Also I had to leave choke partly on.
