I know your pain, I am schizo affective and I used to abuse drugs and alcohol. There are programs you can get in to through the state (At least here) to help you find affordable medication and treatment. Look for the human services department in your area and ask what to do. Good luck!

Skillet's "The Last Night" has saved my life a dozen or more nights with a panic attack and the threat of death on my mind. They have saved me again and again over 10 years. Through child abuse and the aftermath once I got out. I used that song as our wedding dance. This is that song for some new troubled teen. I'm glad they are still making this music as Skillet or Ledger.

This song speaks to me on a personal level. I'm struggling with chronic pain and depression. It's so incredibly hard to deal with and when I pray I often feel like talking to a wall. But music like this makes me feel God's presence. So I just burst into tears while listening.

What did this song have to do with God and Jesus? A friend of mine started this with me and honestly I just thought it was another teenager emo pop song. Nothing in the lyrics suggests it's anything more. If this is contemporary "Christian" music, then contemporary "Christian" music is stupid.
