I saw her perform this at Winterjam on March 30th. I had front row seats and watched her play the drums. She actually waved to me and made the "rock on" symbol with her hand, as well as the sign for "I love you." After Winterjam ended, I actually got to meet her (after buying some of her merch) and she is the sweetest! We took some pics and she signed my pass, which I am giving to my father because he loves her just as much as I do. He and I bond over Skillet and LEDGER. Skillet is the reason I became a Christian. I remember listening to Hero, and hearing John and Jen's voice, and feeling their love for God, and through that song I became a Christian. And their music has helped me through some really tough times. Jen is the reason why I want to be a singer. And when I told her that, she said that that was awesome and she believes in me. I will never forget that moment. So thank you, Jen, and rock on!

Oh my God up in heaven! I just redevoted my life to God and our King Christ Jesus the other day after living in sin for so many years. I was sitting here reading my Bible with a random Christian song list playing in the background and one of her songs came on, I fell in love with her music immediately. You can just hear and see her love and excitement for the Lord while singing this song. Jen is like the most underrated hidden gem in the music industry. Definitely a diamond in the rough. She has THE best voice in the whole world in my opinion. But LEDGER has helped me in my darkest time these past few months and saved my life and has helped me reconnect with my faith which I can tell has helped me. I'm a (sorta) exsound tech...one of those guys that knows what all those buttons and knobs on a sound board does...BAH...LOVED IT. Sadly haven't touched a board in maybe 5 years...but anyways...I worked with ALLOT of talented kids/young adults thru the years...drama...music...choirs...bands...thru a couple different churches, college, local semi professional singer, outdoor events...musicians/singers like Jen made working behind that board, behind the scenes...a total blast...talent like her's and music like this is why I loved doing it so much and made the long hours and days SO SO worth it. Not sure if you'll ever read this...but just encase...Never let the world silence your voice Jen...Your talent and words and music are needed more than ever these days. Music changes the world more than we might know....keep belting it out...keep pounding those drums girl. I strongly believe that a Christian drum beat scares the crap out of the devil...it is the one instrument that is the closest to representing the rumble of the power of GOD. I asked my church to sing this during my baptism a few years ago when they baptized me in the town lake. It hit hard before but ever since then it's hit different. Every time I need a reminder of God's love this song does it. It makes me remember my journey with Him and finding him and is such a beautiful song. Grew up hiding my faith in God and believing church was a cult, and scoffing at scripture. To now, I haven't missed a Sunday in 5 years, do an insane amount of leadership things and try to do all things in life to glorify Him.
