I just talked my husband into it! He actually laughted out when I first mentioned it

Think of the journey as a metaphor for life. Life also brings all kinds of challenges your way. It tests your resilience. Move with it. And you'll find out that you can handle more than you would have thought beforehand. I will walk my first Camino next year. Your journals show me that it will certainly be tough and that I should not think too lightly about it. I'm curious to see what my own resilience will be like. Good luck with the second half of your journey. I will keep following you. You can do it and can and will be proud of yourselves when you reach Santiago ❤

Thanks you for the kind words

( In time ) I genuinely believe that your Camino videos will be the YT version of ' The Way '. That level of influence and importance. Your videos are BS free. Candid. So down-to-earth honest as-to warrant a ' Oh! So THAT's what it is like!! ' response. N.b. 2010 was a record year - I think. 50k - 70k pilgrims. ' The Way ' was released in 2012. It did nothing. In its first six years it made a total of, roughly, $20M. And, yet, this practically ignored film is responsible for an annual influx of 350k pilgrims. Its influence absolutely dominates. ( In time ) your filmed journey has that potential. So don't worry about the numbers. They will increase. Quality will out, and all that jazz.

Loving following your journey in prep for mine. Were you able to carry your trekking u Bella through TSA without issue? Happy Easter!

Spain had overall really bad weather yesterday. Several people died/drowned being swept away at the coast

That’s terrible to hear. Glad it has improved

I disagree with some of the above comments. You’re showing us a snapshot of your day. You’re being real because most people will just show you sunshine and rainbows and not let you know that this isn’t an easy journey. You’ve told us in previous videos of all of the pilgrims you’ve met along the way and the pilgrim dinners you’ve attended. Of course you wouldn’t be videoing those things, because you’re being respectful of their privacy and you’re trying to LIVE those experiences and not have your phones in their faces. Keep up the great work. Thanks for being real.

I'm from Santiago de Compostela. I am following you and the truth is I think you are doing The Camino very quickly and without sharing experiences with other pilgrims. You barely stop in the cities and you don't enjoy the cultural heritage or Spanish food, nor do you interact with other pilgrims.
@RecksTreks8 ай бұрын
We interact with tons of pilgrims. You see 15 minutes of our day. We’ve toured numerous Cathedrals. I’m sorry we’re going to fast for you.

@@RecksTreks You are right, a 15-minute video does not allow you to see an entire day. Enjoy the Camino, and don't fast for me, on the Camino you can eat anything and with what you go there is no problem.

You guys criticize too much, need to be more humble and friendly to the local customs and adapt to the culture a bit more

We’ve criticized one thing in 17 days. Doesn’t seem like that’s too much
