This made me cry. I cried because most Americans, and most of this world, accepted that vile comment and attitude about Jesus demonstrated by Harris. And I cried because - after years of working back from being paralysed to reaching a point where I can use a walker and powerchair for mobility - [ for two days last week ] my legs died on me. For two days I was marooned in my bed. This episode has shattered my Camino dreams. Feel kinda crushed because of this. Still. Your videos of your journey will help my dreams of a future. So thank you.

My husband and I live in South Carolina now but we have a van we use on weekends for trips. I’ve been watching Valhalla for years since they started in a van and also saw her Camino and west highland way videos. I’ve been wanting to do the Camino for years but probably need to wait to be able to get that much time off from work. It’s made me interested in the west highland way. Gotta talk the hisbabd into it. I would love to hear more about how/why you decided to walk the Camino and west highland way etc.
@RecksTreksАй бұрын
Unfortunately there is no deep reason as to why we decided to do these treks. I have been wanting to experience parts of the world in a different way, and I’m done saying “I’ll wait until I retire.” We are still in good health, so the time is now. Thanks for watching .
@taradanayebba4427Ай бұрын
@@RecksTreks thank you. I asked because I also am drawn to doing the Camino but no big specific reason. Hopefully I can make this happen because waiting until I retire also doesn’t resonate with me. Thanks for the inspiration.

Hey! Just found your new series. Looking forward to watching your new journey…well done! One comment from today’s video (I know it’s too late for this series). When you guys talk about the Frances, remember, you walked out of season. Your comments about food avails are wrong. I never once had to buy food from a vending machine. There is delicious (opinion) food and amazing coffee everywhere beginning in early to mid - April. You guys were just crazy early ( by choice i know) but just a different food experience which was self imposed..😂. Anyway, love you both. Love your energy, positivity and dude, you’ve dropped some weight ! Looking like a bad ass!

This has been a great series of videos. Always amazes me that people are willing to travel halfway across the world to sample our little corner of paradise. As a Glaswegian who lives less than 10 miles from the start point in Milngavie it is shameful that you have seen more of our wilderness than I have in my near 50 living here. I need to get out and see more.

I am watching your journey and trying to remember what it was like when I walked it in 1992. I had much better weather then. I do remember walking acoss Rannock Moor to the head of Glen Coe. Amazing, and as you say very remote. I enjoyed a pint in Kinghouse before continuing to Kinlochleven, I think that was the town. Nice videos by the way. I am wondering if you climbed Ben Nevis at the end of your walk, just to add a memory.
