After watching, I think Lee Ann may be the most underrated country artist of all time
@Tubebrerry6 жыл бұрын
Charmbiscuit, "underrated"? Lol. That's not even the half of it. Watch the video for Lee Ann's "I May Hate Myself In the Morning" and try not to become speechless.

The key is to appreciate our privilege to enjoy her NOW. 💖 IMO, she is a reigning superstar among many who reward their loyal and loving fans. 😘 What would you pay for a casino concert with Ms. Womack? I've never had the chance, so that would be a priority expense.

Lee Ann Womack has an incredible voice, this video doesn’t even do her justice.
@Tubebrerry6 жыл бұрын
Momo, glad to hear it. There is, however, very likely an entire multiverse of country music, alternative country music, Americana, country rock and country folk that's as good as or better than the best popular music - whether rock, R&B, blues, hiphop, folk, bluegrass, American standards - you've ever listened to; and that - God only knows how - has escaped your attention so far in life. If so, you're the worse for your lack of exposure and experience. If I were you, I'd try to use Lee Ann Womack as a departure point and start to make up for the deficit from here on out.

I grew up on 90’s country. Lee Ann & Alan Jackson are my favorite country artists of all time! I hate to be a Debbie downer but Lee Ann really is unappreciated. If These Walls Could Talk is my favorite song of hers.

She's brilliant. I have a whole creative project, abt opioid addiction along Ohio River based on this song - pitching a full 4 season streaming series - "Juliet in Junkieland" - with a Lee Ann character. Question does anyone know where the full acoustic session is of her with her band for this album? It's really good but can't find. Man luv the sound of those old Silvertone guitars..early blues and country all thru them!

Pleasure to hear a country singer whose lyrics don't involve sweet tea, pickup trucks or knocking back cold ones.
@Facepalm7106 жыл бұрын
jjj1951 there's a lot more to music than what has been stereotyped. Watch this station more often, it will open up your opinion about all genres of music. Keep an open mind and god bless.
@Tubebrerry6 жыл бұрын
jjj1951, just how uneducated, badly informed, straight-up dumb and musically illiterate are you that you think that's what country music is about? Please don't broadcast and propagate your idiocy. Hatred, by the way, is rooted in sentiments such as yours - not good. Time to reform.
@robertzofall72885 жыл бұрын
@@Tubebrerry Why all this disrespect of someone`s opinion? There are many stereotypes in commercial country music!Time to reform for you ,my friend , but listening to tiny desk seems a good start.
@DonnieBrasco-dy9yd5 жыл бұрын
@@robertzofall7288 Probably because it was a stupid opinion.

@jjj1951 that's because you don't know country. The stereotype country came from the 90's and it was all downhill from that.

Yes, he's played with her for several records. I love the look of engagement he shows here. A session player of his pedegree knows when they are participating in work that not only pays the bills, but work that has artistic and lyrical depth.

1960 Texas, 90% white. It was different, better, before all the cities, and even rural Texas, were overrun by foreigners, that changed the uniqueness of being a Texan. Now it means nothing, except in the movies and the memories of old people, being a Texan. Listening to her reminded me of the way people were back then, when it was a better place, Ms Jacksonville, Texas.
