This is going to be our wedding song in the fall. I remember coming home when this song first came out, and making my now fiance listen to it. I said "honey this is our song" and he smiled. It's definitely you. I feel that way for blues and jazz. I think it's because I'm just unfamiliar with them so I have nothing to recognize or put together. I know a lot of people who think the same way about metal, but I can recognize most metal vocalists without accompaniment because I listen to it a lot, so I've built a large cache of "traits" to unconsciously distinguish between artists.
