I like how this song teaches 2 lessons... First, no matter how long it has been, there are some things we don't ever get over. Second, it's a reminder how someone can be your entire world and you could only be a face in theirs.

I came across your comment at the grief of love ones post here on KZbin. ☹️That’s so touching and I know how it feels to be lonely without our love ones, we've all loss our love ones in death one way or the other, either a spouse, child, family members, or a true friend that meant the world to us, such is life I truly understand how you feel cos I’ve felt same unbearable experiences before but death is just inevitable no matter how hard we try! And we'll all have to face it someday, and every of our love ones we’ve loss will always want to see us happy again wherever they’re. I loss my oldest daughter Annabel February 24th 2020 in a crucial car accident, and she just turned 22 on her last birthday before she got knocked down by a moving vehicle 🚗 and so unlucky for me that horrible day the driver was drunk. That was the worst and most lamenting day of my whole life as a single Dad raising two kid's, my 17 years old son Clark and my 4 legged 🐶 families are my everything and the reason I still keep strong, and keep going! My late wife passed away three years ago from a shocking disease, I felt devastated with grief, and I was so heartbroken 💔 but God and time are indeed the best healers. Hope you’ve found peace, comfort and happiness again? I'd love to talk to you more if you don't mind! So it would be nice to get a reply from you when you got time okay. 🌹🌹

A tid bit of advice for all of you who have this problem; If you want to keep the girl then treat her the same as when you landed her and dont let the chase ever stop. If you danced with her then dance with her, if you sing to her then keep singing, if you landed her however you did it, then you have to keep that up. A caught mouse is a dead mouse and two mice cant be together if one is dead. Just a hint

Her name was Brandie. She stole my heart while I was stationed in Pensacola Florida and carried it with her everywhere for a year almost to the day. Making love nightly on Pensacola Beach made me feel alive in the moment, like only she could. Then one day she set my heart down and after one last kiss, walked away. That was 25 years ago. That's the memory I don't mess with.

My memory I don't mess with knows who he is. I'll probably love him until I breathe my last breath. ❤ I just wish he would have fought for us, maybe then what we shared wouldn't just be this memory that haunts me everyday. I love you SJH always have, always will.

I lost my husband to a freak accident over 5 years ago and I STILL CANNOT deal with it. We were together since I was 15 and he 17. So 47 years and it still WAS NOT ENOUGH. After 5 years gone I still cry. The fact that I will never feel his arms around me again is almost more than I can bear. But I have to accept the fact that God has a plan for me. And pray that I'll find it...

It's crazy how the perfect song comes out at the right time right when u need it to. I was going through a hard toxic breakup and so was my now fiance he was going through a divorce I am now 26 and have known him since middle school since I was 14. He was then and still is my best friend. The song "Rumor" and so MANY others came out when we started talking. He's the true definition of "my person" Everyone has one I never thought I would date this guy or meet anyone perfect for me but God has someone for everyone just sit back and let God guide the right one to you when the time is right he will make it happen !!

Christopher, please please read this. I NEED YOU TO READ THIS RIGHT NOW. IT APPLIES TO YOU. Are you 100% sure that if you died today you would go to heaven? Do you know Jesus Christ? Lay religion, Christian culture, and even politics aside. Someone who truly loves you is reaching out to you not willing that you should perish (2 Peter3), but that you be saved from the price of your sins. With that said, how do you deal with your sin? Yes you. How many times have you lied, lusted, or stolen? I'm guilty, what about you? I hope you feel convicted. But if you're going to reject the free gift of salvation, you ought to think about where you are going after death. Is this your mindset? Luke 12:19 “And I will say to my soul, Soul, thou hast much goods laid up for many years; take thine ease, eat, drink, and be merry.” Please please do not be this person that Jesus described here. I don't care how if you are in a ministry or even behind a pulpit. And their is no shame in getting saved. Matthew 7 21Not every one that saith unto me, Lord, Lord, shall enter into the kingdom of heaven; but he that doeth the will of my Father which is in heaven. 22Many will say to me in that day, Lord, Lord, have we not prophesied in thy name? and in thy name have cast out devils? and in thy name done many wonderful works? 23And then will I profess unto them, I never knew you: depart from me, ye that work iniquity. You see there will be professing Christians that were not actually saved. I want to help you. Matthew 18:3 "And said, Verily I say unto you, Except ye be converted, and become as little children, ye shall not enter into the kingdom of heaven." Because of God's holiness we cannot be in his presence as we are in our sin. No matter how righteous one may appear everyone has sinned and one sin can lead to hell, but there is a way out. We don't deserve it but God made a way that we may become the righteousness of God (Romans 5). I want you to have 100% assurance of salvation. Romans 3:23 - For all have sinned, and come short of the glory of God; John 3:16 - For God so loved the world, that he gave his only begotten Son, that whosoever believeth in him should not perish, but have everlasting life. John 14 6Jesus saith unto him, I am the way, the truth, and the life: no man cometh unto the Father, but by me. Romans 6 23For the wages of sin is death; but the gift of God is eternal life through Jesus Christ our Lord. 1 John 1:9 - If we confess our sins, he is faithful and just to forgive us [our] sins, and to cleanse us from all unrighteousness. 1Corinthians 15 1 Moreover, brethren, I declare unto you the gospel which I preached unto you, which also ye have received, and wherein ye stand; 2By which also ye are saved, if ye keep in memory what I preached unto you, unless ye have believed in vain. 3For I delivered unto you first of all that which I also received, how that Christ died for our sins according to the scriptures; 4And that he was buried, and that he rose again the third day according to the scriptures: Romans 10 9That if thou shalt confess with thy mouth the Lord Jesus, and shalt believe in thine heart that God hath raised him from the dead, thou shalt be saved. 10For with the heart man believeth unto righteousness; and with the mouth confession is made unto salvation. 11For the scripture saith, Whosoever believeth on him shall not be ashamed. 12For there is no difference between the Jew and the Greek: for the same Lord over all is rich unto all that call upon him. 13For WHOSOEVER shall CALL upon the name of the Lord shall be SAVED. Here is the gospel straight and simple: 1. Truly acknowledge that you have sinned against a perfect God and you are worthy of hell that can only be saved by the blood of Jesus Christ 2. Believe that Jesus died for and covered all of your sins and rose again. 3. Say to God that Jesus Christ that he is your saviour. Please let me know. I am praying for you, today is the day of salvation. 2 Corinthians 5:17 “Therefore if any man be in Christ, he is a new creature: old things are passed away; behold, all things are become new."

It's possible but hard. One day at a time. You have to be strong and always use your head. I was there. Now it's been 18 years later and everyday I still see his father in those eyes of my son. It still hurts but just don't do it twice like I did. My lil girl is now 10 and I went through the same hurt with her dad when she was 3. Unfortunately her dad passed on his motorcycle this year. Time is everything. Just don't waste it hurting because the next thing you know 20 years will fly by and your baby will be grown. Good luck sweetheart.

I loved this song before my breakup, and now it’s one of the things that’s saved me. I know this song isn’t necessarily about breakup specifically, but the acceptance of the fact that there’s always gonna be a part of you/a memory that’s affected my a relationship is one simple way to come to terms. The end of my relationship absolutely killed me-we were both headed off to college and we both made some decisions that the other wasn’t happy about. I didn’t expect it to destroy me as much as it did, but it did. This song is so powerful because it helps me remember to live my life in remembrance of the relationship and to be the person that I admired and respected as a part of that relationship, whether or not she chooses to forget it. Even though we still are plagued by the memory, we can use that memory and turn it into uplifting energy for the rest of our lives. It’s a paradox but somehow it works. Not one person can take away the person you fell in love with during a relationship-and that person is you.

Everyone is commenting from the side of not messing with the memory … this song hits so hard for both sides and the ones (me) who made the mistakes and now your hoping their happy praying it was with you, heartbroken that all you want for them they will find without you …. And yet your still happy for them
