Thanks, but the technology isn’t dead. We’re probably going to see more new rotary engine cars from Mazda in the future.

We all know you don’t maintain a rotary like a piston engine but they can last a long time if maintained correctly. There are piston engines out there that don’t make it to 85000 miles. And BMW piston engines commonly burn oil like rotary engines.
