Snowboarding in Las Vegas - Lee Canyon 2024 Upgrades

Lee Canyon in Las Vegas, NV was acquired by Mountain Capital Partners in April 2023 and with that came some new investments in terms of a new parking lot, beginner friendly amenities and a new lift for the Ponderosa trail.

We were just there for the first time, what an amazing area they have to learn. Probably one of the best I've seen. The progression from nearly flat, to a little slope, to green is great. When we were there they also had beginner terrain and jumps set up which was really cool. We also enjoyed the people. Everyone was awesome.

Thanks for this video! This is awesome!!! I’m moving to Henderson this July to finish my flight training at KVGT in north Vegas. I’m just getting into snowboarding and was wondering if there was a place close to Vegas to learn and practice snowboarding! Looks like this is the place!!! Can’t wait to get started!!!👍

It's a great mountain for beginner and intermediate levels and you can't beat the proximity to the city. Check out their website for prices... some midweek tickets start at $19! Good luck on the move and congrats on finishing up your studies!

Mid week was under $30 but prices fluctuate based on demand. It's best to check their website

I wonder why they didn't just make the lift stat at the bottom of where the magic carpet is?

That would be so convenient. It might have to do with the 90 degree turn from the magic carpet to the ponderosa lift.
