I believe the story goes like this, Hongki and the girl were together but the girl left Hongki and chose Hwe Seung instead, both love the girl but in the end Hwe Seung hurt the girl. The song was telling on Hongki's part that she truly love the girl and is still hoping for her to come back and that hating her is the only option to forget her but she just can't because she is engrave in his heart and there's no other way but to love her. For Hwe Seung is that he is truly sorry for the pain he has cause and he wants her to come back, he feels the pain that he has cause and will do anything for her. The MV shows that they are friends who fell apart because of love and take a final picture together as a goodbye and to tell that they Still love her.
