I think I found the reason why this season starts with Naksu losing all of her memories. The main reason might be: for Jang Uk to really knows her true / other personality. In season 1, Jang Uk fell in love with her smart/tough side, and now he gets to see her kind and soft side. Same way goes for Naksu, she loves his playful/funny side, now she learns his dark/grieving side. This is such a perfect love story where the couple experience every version of each other ❤.

There's no denying how brilliant JaeWook is portraying the many many layers of Janguk. These 2 episodes have been so good. He's got sorrow written on his face despite the times he's smiling. When he finally mourns his lost lover and comes to terms with her death, it's not a loud distressed wailing session. His quiet suffering is very much him. Despite getting flogged 100 times in Part 1, he still walked away holding back his sadness and anger at the injustice. He's the same here too.

I love season 2, because we got to see what Yeong is like when she's not Naksu the guarded, manipulated, and scarred assassin. We saw glimpses of her kindness but it was layered with thorns, even her love for UK was careful. But in season2, without her memories, she gets to be herself. So passionate, so honest, and very loving. She knows she will get hurt but she persists in loving Uk. She reaches out to him first even if she gets brushed aside. She's gentle with him. She's also very gentle with the other charas. The way she treats Go Won and Yul. Not as cynical as before. She's no longer in survival mode.

This. I've been wondering in the past two weeks, why the writers depicted Yeong the way they did in Part 2 so far. We get to see how she truly is as a person without the trauma of seeing your parents murdered and trained as an assassin. I'm curious to see how the character progresses as she recalls more and more memories of her "past life." It would be really sad to see her becoming depressed as she paints the whole picture, or worst, blaming herself for killing Uk. Based on the last 4 episodes, I think it's pretty clear for us viewers that the less people know that she's actually Naksu, the better it is for the main couple. I'm also curious to see whether or not Jin Mu eventually gets outed as the one who was behind the bell (i.e. Naksu's actions back in ep 20).

Man the way he started trembling, I was shook with him when he heard Buyeon say "Jang Uk." Her voice is SO similar to JSM's even her intonation is the same it's so believable that for a bit he couldn't tell reality apart from his memories. But I'm sure that when he woke up, his expression was clearer and he knew he was kissing Buyeon. When he cried, it was the moment he'd given up and let go. And when he kissed her it was the moment he'd given into his wife.

I dont get, why the heck many people get mad and ask to get jung so min back as Naksu in S2. To be honest, i think it was right that they put back go yoon jung role as Naksu. No matter how i think, it was supposed to be her role as Naksu from the very first episode, not jung so min. Jung so min was supposed to be Jin bu yeon at all. and the one that Jang uk loves was Naksu soul, not Jin bu yeon. Mudeok is just a variable that combine Naksu soul within Jin bu yeon's body. The role was never existed in the first place. So please appreciated Naksu as her trueself in S2, because Naksu was supposed to look like that (soul, body, faces, appearance) all this time guys

you know how you can physically feel heartbreak? your chest gets tight and you have the urge to squeeze the pressure out because of that unbearable, painful ache. that’s exactly how it felt to watch this scene. Janguk’s been in so much pain yet never allowed himself to mourn for 3 long years and i can’t imagine how that must’ve felt. we can’t yet guarantee who he saw by the end of this precious yet heartbreaking moment, but we can for sure say that Yeong knew he needed this and knew to be there, stay there, and comfort him. this must’ve been the first time in 3 years that Janguk’s felt warmth.

Finally. We all know how broken Jang Uk is from the 1st episode of this new season. Especially when he had those conversations with Master Park Jin about Naksu. Also the fact that he has to face the terrifying wraiths every single time he killed a shifted soul. He couldn't afford to be weak as the Ice Stone is in him and many people are feeling anxious about it. This episode I could feel the sad, longing and loneliness when he cried it all out. Owh, Go Yoon Jung is doing great so far. I have a feeling she's gonna nail this season with flying colours!

This scene bring out the waterworks in me..everyone avoiding Jang Uk for years never approaching him, avoiding him..then came this person this ray of light in his darkness..that he wants to avoid and resist on top of his guilt to his Master and starting to break down his walls. I believe its Bu Yeon he is kissing💖. LjW and GYJ deserves all the love and awards.

I cry, I smile and I get angry I feel all the emotions which they intend to convey us while watching this beautiful drama. The cast, the story and OSTs all of them are amazing. Every episode has one hour and almost twenty minutes but I want more. I feel like it is not enough. I don't want it to end but it has 10 episodes. I hope that Jang Uk kissed "Jin Buyeon" because he had "moved on". So that when he comes to realise that he fell in love with the same person all over again. No matter how different she looks, no matter how different her personality is, he will always love her for who she is and that he loves all sides of her. Vice versa to Naksu(Cho Yeong) ofc.
