Yes. This looks great for reloading .. I am just starting my research into reloading and this little set up looks great. Thank you very much for all the details on how to use it reloading and the costs involved. This video really helped. Thank you

One step that was forgotten and an important one is to resize the fired case in the sizing die

Thanks, MDPrepper. I know about the steel and aluminium casings, but had not considered the +P rated brass yet so that's good advice. Much appreciated!

This is an older video, but I'll make a comment. Decent instruction for using the Lee Classic Loaders. I like that. You stressed the importance of using a non marring hammer, but you didn't say why. A regular hammer will "peen" both the dies, and the decapper, etc., and essentially ruin them in short order. So a non marring hammer is important. I also liked the discussion about the "per round" cost. That helps bring costs and/or savings to an easily understood number. You didn't mention, however, how to remove the bell from the case and crimp the bullet into a firmly held manner. Which is to turn the die body over and insert the loaded round into the other side and "tap" a final time. But, overall, good job. I'll close by observing that your local costs seems a bit high to me. You implied a 2/3 cost and a 1/3 savings. I certainly wouldn't argue with you about that, because you know your area, but I always worked for a 1/2, 1/2 difference. Even with the cost of everything here in 2020 USA, that split (1/2, 1/2), should be attainable. Still, you are 100% correct that even your figures amount to a significant savings. 👍

A Lee-Loader is great for any cartridge that operates at 45,000 psi or less. The Lee-Loader re-sizes the cartridge case necks only. High pressure cartridges, like the .308 Win, can only be loaded about 2 times before the brass needs to be full-length sized, so that it can chamber easily. The Lee-Loader is good for just about all pistol cartridges & rifle cartridges like the .30-30 Win, .444 Marlin, & .45-70 Govt.

Guess I'm new too it. All my reloading equipment sat in boxes when I was in the USMC, lol. Its been 6 months into it. Learned alot, I also cast my own boolits. Just got gas checks in today too.

The bullets are the big cost. Berry's and Rrainier sell electroplated bullets that you could use at the range. They are about 30% cheaper. Hornady quality may be a overkill with the lee loader . Thanks for the video :)

People really need to go by the instructions on the loader kit. This is not a how to video because too much was left out. This is more a cost savings video using the Lee Loader.

@MDPrepper That's great : ) nothing shows a small mentality like having to stand on pretensions. Nothing shows a big secure sense of self as does one refusing to use societal distinctions to hold themselves up. Truly great human beings never see themselves as belonging to a class or group above anyone.

Im at just under $200 including loader and all components for 500 rounds of 357 magnum. The cheapest box of 357 where I live is $25/50. So it paid for my reloader and then some. Now I'll have less brass to buy for awhile and no loader to purchase. Minus loader and using cases a second time I'm under $100 for 500 or $10 a box, Russian tulammo 9mm Luger can barely get that low unless I buy to 100 rounder!

Hi! New to your channel, but I think you talk sense and are well prepared. I got a question regarding the quality of brass cases. I have not started reloading yet but need to start soon. Any makes you recommend because of their good quality brass or others you would avoid? Right now I'm shooting CCI, Fiocchi, Blazer and Sellier & Bellot. Thanks & best regards.

Hey! MDPrepper, is that like Doctor Prepper? I've got some of those. Some competition guys love to use those because they are easier to control the exact everything. I've also got a hand press that's very portable. For reloading stuff you HAVE to check Kittery Trading Post Dot Com. They have a special going on if it's still on & free shipping over $50. Their other stuff isn't great, but for reloading Lee Stuff they are the best I've found for price for a load of stuff.

Been trying to find a lee loader, or dies for my .38 casings. I just purchased a Charter Arms Off Duty snubbie. Everyone is sold out of everything. I suppose I'll have to jump on e bay to get my reloading dies.

@MDPrepper Cool MD, you don't come across as a Doctor ... and when you're a Doctor & don't come across like a Doctor that's good in my book. NOT that there's anything wrong with Doctors. Some of the best Doctoring I've gotten was from Doctors. Kittery is king for putting together a good haul of reloading stuff for the best price. Lee is king there too. Put them together & ... I don't know what you call it except it's the most cost effective. The mental picture of 2 Kings offspring is disturbing

Hey I like your video but their are some problems with your stuff first, you over payed for your primers. if you get Winchester primers they will run you $29 for 1000. And after 1000 rounds of ammo reloaded it's time to get a press I only reloaded about 200 rounds of 30-30 like that before I invested in a press, but if you don't have a place to mount a press or you can't dedicate a place to reloading that's fine, but reloading this way is the slowest in my mind you can check out my video of rel
