I was having problems with the #1 station, the sizing die, with the case hitting the mouth. I did what you recommended but if your grinding isn't smooth the die holder can move when tightening it down. I end up grinding the end of the tightening bolt to a point and voila, works like a champ! Reloading 45's I have no problems with alignment so it's obviously the 9mm plate that I use is slightly off. Appreciate your videos!

Great update. I too have had alignment and priming issues. Press seems to be designed for tinkerers! Have had mine for a couple of years now and still work on tweaks occasionally. Curious about which bullet feeder you are using. I enjoy your videos.

Thank you for sharing such useful tips. It is really appreciated. When I tighten the turret screw, it shifts the turret a little, affecting line up with the brass. How do I determine where and how much to shave off from the turret to align it correctly like you did with your other calibres?

What you can do is remove the turret screw from the press, raise the ram with the shell plate and a piece of brass up into your sizing die, make sure it's fully raised, now add a small amount of paint to the turret screw "not too much paint", and turn it in until it touches the turret, remove the turret and take a small amount of material from the spot that has the paint spot, stay centered on the spot, try and make the spot cupped like the screw end, you can use a small drill or Dremel, don't remove too much material, you can always remove more, but you can't put it back on, 2mm deep is all you need. It's not too hard I know you'll get it !

Excellent video. I had the same problem. I also notice there is a yellow "paddle" on your case feeder. What is that?

Hey cjmala3370 its actually a part I made on my 3D printer from Thingiverse, it helps with cases tipping over, I posted a video with a link and how it works.

That is a part I made on my 3D printer, you can find the link to the file to make it in my other video. kzbin.info/www/bejne/amHafXqqZ9Cem6c

Just set it up properly and use. Ive had no issues with any lee products. If you cant setup your equipment when you get it. You have no business reloading ammunition.

I agree, i was skeptical about getting the loadmaster from all the negativity i had heard about it, once i got it setup and went through the really short learning curve mine has ran like a swiss watch, it makes absolute great ammo. Theres really no tinkering that they say you have to do, what ive experienced is just general setup procedures for different projectiles or calibers, once its set its set.

looks like you got lucky, my father had one and it was endless nightmares with indexing and using small primers so much so that we decided to manually handprime cases that used small primes because of how many we were throwing away, got the 6 pack and that works infinitely better
