Love the story from 19:30 to around 22:00, the story of true forgiveness. Forgive others, and receive release for yourself.

I have some questions about this. I do believe forgiveness is crucial, but sometimes not forgiving is a safety net, but then I have questions about what exactly I mean, I dont wish anyone harm though...but then I think of God and His people who got some pretty big spiritual time-outs. It is difficult to write without giving any personal information about what happened that brought me to this. I used to believe that if you loved more, they will see and respond eventually (soft answer turns away wrath etc)- but that only applies to those whose conscience has not been seared. I can forgive a lot of things that have been done to me, but there is one instance that is an enormous issue. still.

Hi Angelica, Forgiveness is no easy task. We are commanded to forgive because we have been forgiven. Forgiving others can also bring healing and blessings to yourself as you forgive out of obedience. However, forgiveness is different than trust. You can forgive someone multiple times but that does not mean you have to continue to trust them in the same way. If you're having trouble forgiving someone, ask God for help in that area. When we forgive, we are allowing God to be the ultimate Judge, and not ourselves. God bless!

And if you did, if you wrote that letter, if you offer a plate of food, if you acknowledged your part and despite of being the one mistreated and hurt humbled yourself to forgive and ask for forgiveness for whatever in you caused the other person the horrific thing that they did and he not only rejects but willingly chooses to hurt you and not directly but through those he knows are most frail and dear to you (your kids), then what? Where do you go? What do you do? How do you stop something the other doesn't because it is simply pleasing to him or whatever other sick reason may be? Seventy times seven Out of love for Christ, obedience to Him by His Spirit only But so tough still before stiffknecked self righteousness and constant and inhumane, selfish cruelty... tough. I do realize how much I need it, my girls need it, but i just cannot Thanks for your prayers

Sometimes, we have to pull all of our strength to do one thing that we feel wronged for. Its okay to ask God to help you reason through it, no matter how long it takes.

Wow....video up for 2.5 yrs. Almost no likes, only 4100 views, and 4 comments. And we wonder why the church is anemic and ineffective. This is a calling for every believer because no one gets out of this life without needing to forgive someone.

Did Jesus say to the thief on the other side “you will be with me in paradise?” No. You must feel contrition for forgiveness to be complete. You are under no obligation to forgive those who do not want forgiveness. If you will the good of the other, then you don’t perpetuate their sin by providing forgiveness when they don’t care if you do or not. That is not willing their good. Christ forgave those who crucified him, because it was the Jews who condemned Him, not the soldiers with the hammers. If you are saved, then you have acknowledged your sins, and you have sought forgiveness. Lee is correct in saying we should see our own redemption when we look on the sins of others, and act accordingly.

Some/most? of my enemies DON'T CARE if I forgive them or not. In fact, I have the impression that that my enemies would despise me even MORE if they knew I was forgiving and blessing them. But, regardless, Jesus doesn't SUGGEST I forgive my enemies, he COMMANDS me to forgive everyone who has hurt me, harmed me, despised me, gossiped about me and put me down.

When are you going to love God’s gay children? Treat them “ as though you like them. “ When will you realize that God created them that way. And one of the reasons is that they are teaching, by their simply being alive, unconditional love. That all Christians are to love gay people unconditionally. When will you begin to accept them and love them?

There were present at that season some who told Him about the Galileans whose blood Pilate had mingled with their sacrifices. And Jesus answered and said to them, “Do you suppose that these Galileans were worse sinners than all other Galileans, because they suffered such things? I tell you, no; but unless you repent you will all likewise perish. Or those eighteen on whom the tower in Siloam fell and killed them, do you think that they were worse sinners than all other men who dwelt in Jerusalem? I tell you, no; but unless you repent you will all likewise perish.” Luke 13:1‭-‬5 NKJV

“Not everyone who says to Me, ‘Lord, Lord,’ shall enter the kingdom of heaven, but he who does the will of My Father in heaven. Many will say to Me in that day, ‘Lord, Lord, have we not prophesied in Your name, cast out demons in Your name, and done many wonders in Your name?’ And then I will declare to them, ‘I never knew you; depart from Me, you who practice lawlessness!’ Matthew 7:21‭-‬23 NKJV

And God also made rapists, murders, pedophiles , human traffickers as well ..... who will all have to be accountable for their actions of sinning against their bodies weather their own or another’s all made in the likeness of God. Everyone has a cross to bear. Just because you can or want to doesn’t mean you should. That is what temptation is! That is how Satan works, he justifies sinful behaviour and actions 🤷🏻‍♀️. Food for thought.

I would have been surprised if he had become a Catholic. JFI, after my wife had become a Christian, she left the Catholic Church with its very fallible pope. Jesus, not the pope, is mediator between God and man. 🙂
