When Lee Buck Trevino gives a lesson, there's no BS, just straight talk and well explained so you can understand everything and he demonstrates perfectly.

When he gives you his opinion, you can bet he's got facts to support it. Whether it's a chip shot, or College Basketball. He can blue face with the best, but he's no bullshitter. You'll ALWAYS learn something, if you listen to Lee Trevino. He's a curious person by nature, and he'll get to the root core of anything.

Mr. Trevino does set up with the feet left of the target but contrary to his commentary his shoulders are square to the target line. Start at the 2:00 mark. I've also in another video with David Graham Lee talks about lifting the club outside the target line and reroutes the club slightly inside.

Except that when he demonstrated, he looped the club back inside and on plane. Of course, that is Trevino's swing: taking the club outside and looping it in back on plane. It's not how most people swing. The key on any shot is to stay ON PLANE.
@ram06662 жыл бұрын
That is Trevino swing but if thats the first time anybody ever heard to open up their stance on chips then obviously they arent that good at golf. Every pro will teach you to have an open stance which promotes at least the feeling of the club going outside, weight on your left side so you can strike the golfball with a descending blow and swing left while your body turns thru the ball. He has his own swing but the fundamentals he talks about are no different than any other pro. He broke it down very efficiently
