The song describes the feeling that is felt when leaving something or someone you know you'll never be able to see again whether it be the death of a loved one, someone sent away far away, a soldier leaving for war, or just fresh heartache from a long loving close relationship. In the begining it's describes how life is moving on, people are carrying on with their lives, and everything fades away for the next day. The life story of this person carries on and the moments they used to have with this significant other has already passed away(almost like a sense of dying) into the memories of their minds. Though even when this person is already torn a part by the fact of the sepration and tried to make it up to the one they seperated with, they know they must be strong and not give up because life goes on. Everyone and all living beings live under the same vast glassy sky. So as long as this person knows that fact, they believe they will always be a part of them no matter how far the one they seperated from seems. Looking up at that glassy sky gives them the comfort that the person they love will always be there with them, looking at or under the same sky whether its day or night.

I just "graduated" from my school...a school I was never treated well at. fake friends, bullies, manipulation, not to mention unfair, unjust, and insane teachers. You name it, I've experienced it.
