pH Crash what is it and how to prevent it.

Here by me in USA NWI we have thankfully very hard water so regular water changes helps for my QT tank.....BUT I do use crushed oyster shells as a buffer in my pond outside pond because when it rains it can/will lower my PH.

yes we used to have hard water from the all the limestone in Derbyshire peak district but recently the water supply is often very soft and lacking in minerals.

Brill lee i love your videos very informative n u get to the point which i like. I've just added oyster shells to my koi pond as im in the north west n we have soft water here low kh. Thanks for all of the advice u give on ur vids. Just purchased a bike inner tube to use as a feeding ring too as plastic ones aren't very good. Cheers mate.

@@ianjones3718 definitely. Low pH could be devastating for the fish. You should also check the kh if you have a kit. Bicarbonate of soda will help raise the kh

Thank you for the feedback. Your absolutely correct. Unfortunately KZbin doesn't permit me to edit the audio after it has been published. I am definitely keeping the volume down on the background music.

I absolutely agree 100 percent. Unfortunately after the video has been uploaded KZbin will not allow you to edit the soundtrack. But rest assured the volume button had been turned down on all further videos. Thanks for the feedback.
