Wow what an impact this made in me. As a white 70 year old woman who celebrates her small and extremely racially diverse family, Devi touched me to tears. George Floyd was murdered on my birthday and transformed me into such deep grief. Yes privilege is a very important word to own. And now is the time, very late, to learn and embrace the horror lived by our black family on this earth.I’ve been blessed to have not been able to understand prejudice , but certainly have felt it when I carried my beautiful new mixed grandson at a grocery store 30 years ago. He calls me his twin soul because he was born on my birthday. I was also so confronted by my lack of voice. The love she shared with us of herself was literally intoxicating. Thank you for the freedom to own your love of yourself with such total abandonment. This interview has made my day and I was given so many names of women and men I want to share this with. I will take that action now. Thank you so much.

I feel you fella sensitive souls. I always knew as a kid going home asking my mom why I was getting teased at school and she told me to keep calm because there’s something unique in me - I was 8-9ish. Healing and recovering from my past trauma is such a freeing feeling. I am normalizing feel joy, love, peace, compassion, forgiveness. fulfillment and infinite possibilities. 2020-2021 is actually years of freedom and breakthroughs despite what’s happening outside me. Blessings beautiful souls.

I started listening to this episode when it first came out. I came back to it today because I realized recently that I'm also a "divine mirror" as Devi said and it was very much in my awareness lately. I'm glad I came back because the discussion about the black American experience was deeply touching. I moved to Ghana, West Africa eight years ago with my mother and that has been such a rich journey of healing my ancestral line. I wish I had come back to this episode sooner but divine timing is always right. Thanks so much Lee for holding space for this very important conversation.

Omg….the some people are repelled by me….I felt that. Never thought about it but I totally get it. I have the same experiences. Everything you’ve said I’ve related to, including latchkey, having adults seek my energy, or hate me for no reason. Jeez…I’m going to have to watch this about 10 more times.

Same here, have had many times new people just don't like me and I'm just friendly and open. Always finding it strange, but if you hold much light or are different in the energy, peoples shadow and unhealed stuff get triggered by the light. Heard some spiritual teachers I follow say it too reasontly that they trigger people all the time just by being them self and authentic. But no more time to play small or apologetic, we must shine bright 😊🙏🌏🌻

Wow. What an episode. There was so much love energy in this episode that I could feel myself both being triggered and then when I let myself sink into it, feel literally in my cells how my own trauma not only as a POC in South Africa, but as a sensitive vibrate and release. I resonated so much with what Devi spoke of regarding the deep grief one feels when dismantling the anchors of your (wounded) story. I've been releasing that on a level I didn't know existed and found many to not really understand, but I could see that it was because they hadn't yet done it for themselves. Hearing her say that helped affirm what I felt within myself and gave me greater courage to trust in myself more. What a pleasure, gift and blessing this podcast is. 🙏🏽💜

"Changing the structure." It is by changing the structure that we create a new and different world with qualitatively different outcomes and lived experience for all. That only occurs through healing and the willingness of those courageous souls to go on that journey into the darkness and say, "It ends with me." This is not the immature expression of the Martyr archetype, but the mature expression of it. Someone who is willing to experience the death of their old Self, their ego and identity, for the betterment of all.

Amazing conversation!!! I can SO relate!!! This is the First guest u have had on that has had such similar experiences to me.. thank you Lee.. I BADLY needed to hear that I am not the only one with these types of experiences in the world. I've grown with very similar experiences with older people asking for comfort with me since I was 7. I can also relate to either being loved or hated. I love the being 'so soft' comment 'so much' because I have never been able to put into words the personal energetic adjustments I have had to make to share space with more people. SO ON POINT! I have also come to understand how to hold energetic space for people no matter where they are in the past 4-5 years, by being soft. Having since come to be able to feel how MUCH space I CAN open up for them energetically without overwhelming them, especially by using this softening technique. It FEELS almost like A PRESENCE with mother earth love to nurture a BASE or nest without dictating flow or personal desire (or NOT EVEN where I may think they might feel comfortable to be EXISTING Energetically) its like softening or basing with allowance for anything... [a hug for their feet or seat] people tend to feel much more comfortable with energetic love coming at them from below them rather than around them. I am so excited to watch the rest of this video. I got so excited that I had to write... 😆 so grateful 🙏

Authenticity & love….. this resonated big time as this something I have been thinking about and witnessing. Being real from a place of love is uncomfortable for many. It’s a stranger and strangers aren’t to be trusted! Love seems to only be associated to either a parent child relationship or a romantic relationship. Drama and negativity has become the norm. Thanks for this heartfelt and real conversation. 😘

I get that we must be sensitive to past trauma, especially generations of compacted grief, layers of injustice upon injustice. We also must be compassionate with the varied attempts to cope with that trauma, thankfully with many signs of hope for genuine healing and empowerment emerging. However, it needs to be stated regarding the G Floyd situation and other media-skewed, distorted and politicized tragedies: There is a weaponization happening-a wave of misplaced aggression being stoked and utilized destructively by those who only want to continue a slave/master system in some new and improved form. A preposterous thought (new and improved slavery system). The promoters of it don’t use those exact words, but that is exactly what underlies the present challenges we’re all experiencing and alluding to but don’t dare go into specifics about in order to keep our discussions from being erased. With love and compassion this needs to be stated.

Oh you got that SOOOOO WRONG about her “authentic confidence”. That’s not it. I’m 19 minutes into this video and can’t figure out what this woman is all about. She does rub me the wrong way with her lack of humility tooting her own horn. Looks like the empath is pretty drawn to a potential narcissist. You just gave her some yummy supply. You didn’t hear her say “I’m going to savor that when I get home.” Jesus who says that????
