Leek and Rudyard Railway Steam Gala 16th and 17th September 2023

The Leek and Rudyard Railway held their Annual Steam Gala on 16th and 17th September 2023. The video shows Victoria, King Arthur, Lady Jane Gray, Waverley, Nelly and Merlin in both freight and Passenger action over both days of the event and brief appearances from Diesels Frances and Rudyard Lady. I also had my first visit to the 'All New' Platform 2 Cafe and very impressive it is too.
Many Thanks to everyone for all the hard work you obviously put in making this such a great event. I've been at the Steam Galas for the past 13 years now and can honestly say they get better each year.

What a trimendous video, great to hear all these Steam engines all hooting at the beginning of the video & also at the end of the video, l have thurly enjoyed this great video, if l was to give it a mark , l would give it 50 out of 50, it was very enjoyable.

Absolutely marvellous and salute to all those who have kept the spirit alive. This video is as if I am watching live there standing in person. Superb camera work. This brought back all my memories of travelling by steam trains in the 80s here in India. Thank you and good luck.

Excellent video as always, they have some lovely locos and always put on very entertaining events, always love those cavalcades. The only thing missing from your film was a review of the bacon sarnies in their shiny new cafeteria!😉

Excellent video of the Gala as always! Hopefully most of the stock stays with the railway once a buyer can be found. To lose this 10.25 inch line would be terrible
