yes, you can turn off it in the menu, presses the Menu key, when you see the guidelines on/off icon, you can press + and - key to turn on or off the lines, then waiting for 4 seconds quit the menu mode. then you will see the guidelines on or off.

Alina, I have the wireless camera kit and I installed it inside the rear window of my honda element. It works great in the daytime but at night, the 6 led lights come on. Is there a way to disable the led lights at night?

I don't get it. I installed mine like this, with the blue wire to my reverse light so that camera would override the other, and I get no signal on av1 and av2

please check does the camera lights are light-on when in the dark? if not means the power cable, not correct connections.

what is the blue wire for?

it's a trigger wire for reversing priority.you can use it or ignore it. it's useful when you connecting two cameras working at the same time on the monitor.

@@valdrew6685 the blue wire is a trigger wire for priority of AV2 channel,this monitor without a split screen, so if you connected two cameras on this monitor, and both camera are on, so maybe you need a trigger wire to make the AV2 channel working prioritized when camera 2 was power on, it is optional to use, you can ingore it if you only connected a one camera to monitor or you can switch the channels by manual .
