One of the very best bands in the world. Listen to their phrasing and dynamics. The clarity and precision knock me out!

I've played two arrangements of this. In 2000 John R. Bourgeois published an arrangement. The horns have the melody in the intro. Go horns !!!

Col. Bourgeois' edition is based on the original European version, not the American arrangement, and I think it's much better.

Who made this arrangement? Quite different from the very popular Swearingen version, but very enjoyable.

Interesting, not his published arrangement...I like the trumpet counter melody which does not appear in the HL version.

We played this from the original European parts, not the American arrangement that was recorded by Fennell and Eastman, and I think this original version sounds better....more "continental".
