This is why your information is so valuable to me, you show mistakes as well as when everything goes perfect. Those wiggling front feet are absolutely adorable though 😂🐾

Fun story. I was clicker training a young dog indoors. I wanted her to put her front feet on a frisbee target on the floor. I didn't think about the issue my parrot would cause. The bird started clicking and throwing food at my pup. To this day, that dog will twist herself into a pretzel trying to avoid touching that Frisbee with her feet. I wish I could time my marker and rewards as well as my parrot does. I now train outdoors or in a separate room with the stereo playing.

Great video and great analogies but I do have to say if that is the only mistake you’ve ever made as a trainer you do pretty darn well that’s why I follow you. Thank you for sharing this great information.

Something similar happens to my dogs but only when I have the leash getting ready to go for a walk. I asked them to sit or down and they keep moving their legs. How ever they wont do it when we are practicing they just do it great with or without food or toy rewards. But when they see the leash they just become so exited, ther is no attention, do not hold positions just keep moving and moving.

My Shepherd gets excited when I put socks on, he gets more excited when I put pants on, when I put my coat on he starts running and jumping around and goes to the front door and grabs or runs over my shoes to say, "Put these on! I know you're gonna!", then he jumps at my hand as I unlock the door. He might need some additional training. ;)
